The best pit beef I have ever eaten

Small place with great pit beef. Onions, tiger sauce, and sweet baby ray's go on my sandwiches everytime I go there.

We came here on a recommendation, but it didn't even begin to prepare us for what we found. It literally is in the parking lot of a strip club, and yet somehow it just makes Chap's even more hilariously special. I understand it started as a small hole in the wall which has grown considerably, although the line was way... More

What a great experience. Chap's is not much to look at and is certainly not fancy. It is just a sandwich restaurant , somewhat just a hole in the wall place... However, the place is clean and the food is awesome. The biggest problem is making a selection out of the many great sandwich choices. The best beef, pork, ham... More

If you are a meat lover, you need to come to this place. Regardless of what time you show up there is always a line and it is always delicious. The place is easy to miss. I knew I found the right place when the smell of smoking meat wafted in as soon as I open the door. The sandwiches... More

My friend and I have been going here since I saw it featured on Food Network. I was a little taken back at first because it looks like a dive. However I could not have been more wrong. The food is so good and the portions are huge and prices are great. If you are visiting Baltimore its a must... More

We went here before we got on the road to head home. I was so upset that we only got one sandwich to share. The sandwich was soooo good I felt like turing around and going back to get 3 more!!! We ordered the raven and it was delicious. So much meat with a nice grilled taste... The roll was... More

Stopped here with the family on the way out of Baltimore. Been to Chaps once before and 5 years ago and couldn't wait to go again. As most reviews indicate, small 'no frills' pit beef shop on the east end of Baltimore. Food, particularly the beef, is just fantastic. Stopped on a Monday about 1 in the afternoon so it... More

The combo sandwiches were pretty good. Fries with gravy were good. Not worth a special trip, but ok. You can always trust lists

Best Beef sandwich I have ever had in my life. No frills but heavenly food. If you love meat, eat here. You won't be disappointed.
