Excellent

This restaurant isn't in the best of neighborhoods, but the food was well worth the effort! Small dining area inside and outside. Place is next to a strip club which I find amusing. We came right before the lunch crowd and it started to get packed right away. Even with the high volume, the food kept coming out quickly. Seems like the cops seem to really like this place. The beef was tender and you can really taste the smoke. The sausage... More

Been eating here since I was old enough to cross Pulaski Highway by myself. My go to's are the open face Beef Platter and the Turkey Rachel, but there are so many other sandwiches, platters and subs to choose from. I've had Pit Beef from all up and down the East Coast, but Chaps is by far the best. When... More

Don't let where this restaurant is deter you from going in. The food is great ..the menu is large. I wish we had looked at it poor to going so many choices.staff is friendly ,the building is clean. We stopped by on our way home after a trip to DC. A friend raved about it so we thought we would try it. It is located on the parking lot of the Gentlemen's Gold Club but do not let that deter you. We arrived and the menu is quite extensive. I had the pit beef/turkey combo which was loaded... More

As a former "Road Warrior" having stayed on the road over 5,000 nights in 40 years, and eaten more than 15,000 meals on the road, I wouldn't rate this restaurant more than Average. Another Diners, Drive in and Dives OVER RATED Restaurant. Location-3 Food......-3 Service .-4 Value.....-3 Cleanliness- 2 !! LOCATION Easy to find, but a VERY SMALL restaurant, really... More

This is a small place it is best to take out not to much room to eat in. It is always crowed and long lines but the line does move fast. I like the pit turkey & corned beef sandwich and there fries are the great.

Decided to try Chap's. EVERYONE I talk to raves about it. When I got there, the line was out the door...that's a good sign. Service was quick and friendly...food was hot and served up quickly. Wow...is the best way to describe it. Moist, juicy, very flavorful...and the Tiger sauce is great! Definitely a "must stop and eat" when in the... More
