Came to Baltimore for Labor Day weekend with the family. (Me, hubby and two daughters 11,6) Our plan originally was to go to Thai Yum because of a groupon I got. Unfortunately, that restaurant was closed (on vacation) and we were determine to have Thai for lunch for the day. We looked around and saw Thai Arroy across the street.... More

Stopping purely by chance as a walk by we entered Thai Arroy, appearing family friendly but without a wine or liquor license the waitress suggested we go out and buy a six pack and sodas in the local store which we did.The menu was impressive but sadly we found later it did not live up to my expectations as I have... Excellent family-run restaurant in the heart of Federal Hill. Walking distance to the Inner Harbor. It is BYOB with a liquor and beer store right down the street for purchasing drinks. Comfortable atmosphere with outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Never had a bad meal. Recommend to friends.

For some top notch Thai food, you can't go wrong with Thai Arroy. We had rice dishes and some curry--both were excellent, and the service was just as good.

I started to rate this Very Good overall, but then I realized ranked all the categories Average except for the food, which I deemed Very Good. I ordered the Ob Woon Sen (hot pot) with mock duck. The portion was generous, the flavor good. I'm not familiar with this dish, but it didn't expect it to be dry (no sauce).... More

Thai Arroy is the best! My wife and I took a look at all their good reviews and thankfully gave it a go after an afternoon at the Aquarium. Their staff are very friendly and took great care of our infant by helping us with his stroller, etc. We ordered a curry dish (Gang Grang I believe?) and Pad Thai,... More

Try the drunken noodles. Awesome. The green curry had a real kick. Nice lunch specials. Very friendly and clean.

Started with some curry dumplings....quite delicious. The shrimp pad thai was very good but a bit too sweet for me....tons of perfectly cooked shrimp. The service was quick and friendly. Also, BYOB is always a good thing when you are worried about the quality of the beer or wine selection. There seemed to be a steady flow of loyal take... More

The Thai Arroy is described on the internet as vegetarian, but this isn’t the case. There is a wide range of dishes, including good vegetarian choices. I opted for mock duck, which was really first class, and helpings are large. The spring rolls and dumplings for appetizers were excellent too. It’s a small restaurant, and quite crowded, no doubt because... More

We absolutely love Thai food and a visit to Thai Arroy more than appeased our taste buds. We were in a mood for some spicy Thai food on our visit to Baltimore and after a lot of research zeroed in on Thai Arroy. The service was spot on. The lady who was catering to our table was extremely sweet and... More
