Went there on a Tuesday night, Dec 9, our second trip. Had been there several months prior and were not impressed, but decided to try again on a slow night. It was slow. The hostess was on the phone when we went in, and simply motioned for us to the dining room, no smile, no hello, nodda! A waiter seated... More

Authentic Italian cuisine with variety and incredible flavour. The manager has also selected an impressive selection of wines from Piedmont that pair with any choice of meal. I was most impressed with the perfection of food, service and atmosphere. Outstanding!!

Good food, large portions and nice atmosphere. Antipasto was our favorite. Pleasant experience we will return.

Even though not very elegant we had a good dinner here. The portions were quite big and the service quick and attentive. The restaurant is big and quite noisy.

In September, we had the wonderful pleasure of going to this restaurant. One of our good friends who use to live in Baltimore took us to his favorite restaurants in Little Italy. My Italian Mother was a terrific cook. Other than the Italian meals my Mom use to make, this is absolutely one of the best Italian Restaurants I have... More

The food at Chiapparelli's is not the good. I guess it's better when you're not from Brooklyn. We stopped in for an early dinner and our party was disappointed with the entrees. We ordered pasta, seafood, and chicken entrees. The Salad was good. Service was average. Décor was nice but they need a new rug. Other places in the immediate... More

The menu and dining room at Chiapparelli's looks unchanged in 40 years, and I say that in the most loving way possible. I grew up on Italian food like this and enjoyed our lunch there for precisely this reason--reminded me of great times from my childhood. At our lunch, the garlic shrimp and Clams Casino appetizers were especially good. However,... More

I'm getting hungry just remembering our lunch from the other day. SOOOOO good. Absolutely get the Chip's Salad. I know it sounds ridiculous for me to rave about a salad, but it is tremendous. And save room for your meal after that -- classic Italian just like your grandmother would have made if she was Italian. Chiapparelli's has been there... More

We waited a while before anyone acknowledged we were standing there. At least 10 minutes. Waiters and bus boys all walked by us, but none would speak to us. It was really weird. I feared I might be a ghost. The host appeared very frazzled that night. When we did get seated, the waitress was also hard to get. The... More
