I recently dined at this restaraunt based off of trip advisor reviews while in Baltimore. The restaraunt is fairly larger and the upstairs dining area is a very intamate, soft setting for a romantic date night. Our server was very attentive and professional, he kept our wine glasses and water glasses full throught the meal. The wine list is extensive... More

My family and I visited Baltimore to see a baseball game. We heard that Baltimore has a thriving Little Italy area, so we decided to give an Italian restaurant a try. La Scala had great reviews, so we gave it a try. The restaurant is very nice and boasts an indoor boccee court. The service is excellent and the pasta... More

The food was on point. Our waiter was attentive and very impressive the way he knew the menu and the wine list.

My business partner and I were in Baltimore to attend a legal conference. We had invited two attorneys to dinner during the conference, and poured over TripAdvisor restaurant reviews for a suitably impressive venue. La Scala did not disappoint. Attractive and historic location. Utterly impressive service. Food on quality of NY's or SF's very best. In order to arrive on... More

Beautiful restaurant tucked away in "Little Italy" . The wine list was extensive and the cheese plates excellant. Lots of competition in the neighborhood, but well worth it.

This restaurant was wonderful and prepared classic Italian meals. The only downside is that no sausage was on the menu! However, the service and the quality of the food was second to none.

I ordered wine, appetizers, entrees, and desert for three it cost me $150 including tip. The dining room is rather dark, table are covered in white linen, the staff is excellent, knowledgable, and professional. The bread was great. My fettuccini alfredo was perfect. There was a rather lengthy delay between the appetizers and entrees and the waiter didn't scrape my... More

We had a wonderful dinner and great service at LaScala. The only disappointment was the dessert. Definitely sub-par, especially after the fantastic appetizers, dinner and service we received.

Anyone who calls this traditional Italian has never been to Italy or even NY. The gnocchi arrived completely submerged in some kind of cheesy liquid, the other pasta dishes where totally covered in sauce and by the way more bad sauce does not make the dish good. The veal saltimbocca was also swimming in liquid and covered in cheese to... More
