I have been reading these reviews and some are conflicting when you go to a restaurant like germano's you must have the understanding that everything is made fresh and they don’t start making your food until your order is put in. Every time I go to Germano's my server usually does the spiel about the special and also suggest that... more

2/14/09- I made reservations for V-Day and initially everything was fine. The wine and the bread/oil were wonderful, and the calamari was great. However, that was the highlight of the experience. The service was incredibly slow as it took well over an hour and a half to get our entrees. The entrees were absolutely miserable and there is nothing redeeming... more

My husband and I had received a gift certificate to Germanos as a gift, from the website restaurant.com. There were no stipulations except that it could not be used on alcohol. We went there (with my parents visiting from out of town) and ordered a half price bottle of wine as our beverage. We were told that we could not... more

I used to live in Baltimore and Germano's was my favorite restaurant in the entire city. I don't live there, anymore, but when I visit I almost always eat there. The food is superb as Germano does not tolerate anything less. The Penne Strasicate is my favorite dish. more

For being located in Little Italy you would expect good Italian Food well guess again, the Lasagna was terrible. The Cabaret was ok however they have a separate menu for the Cabaret and charge you $10 for the show. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, may just stop by and have a drink and pay for the Cabaret... more

I can handle bad service, which we had here. But the fact that I paid 20 dollars for food I couldn't even eat is terrible. And the waiter seemed annoyed that I didn't eat it! MY friend ordered basic pasta with marinara, and even her dish was bland, though it was more edible than the salmon and ricotta gnocci that... more

Had a wonderful lunch at Germano's. The delicious food, generous portions, friendly waitstaff, nice ambiance and courteous service made for a great restaurant experience. In addition, the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Germano's--it is a short walk from the Inner Harbor. more

It's been awhile since we last visited Germano's in Little Italy. There are so many restaurant choices here in Baltimore these days. But when we heard they were hosting a cabaret on Thursday nights, we just had to check it out. I can tell you we were totally entertained and very well fed at the same time, a rarity for... more

My husband and I have been to Germano's three times and each time we had a fantastic meal in a romantic setting, with superb service from an attentive and congenial waiter, and we will continue to recommend this lovely little restaurant in Little Italy as often as possible. We are going there again tonight (Easter Sunday), and we expect to... more

A two hour wait for mediocre food--that’s Germanos. While the atmosphere may be that of a charming little Italian restaurant the service was absolutely the worst. Once seated it was twenty minutes till we were finally greeted, another twenty until we placed our order, and fifty minutes till we received our food. The portion size was completely off; four medium... more
