Brunch with a "twist"

We have had lunches and dinners at Sobo, but had heard good things about their brunch, so yesterday we decided to try Sunday Brunch and enjoyed it. As their "liquor license" is for wine only, the traditional Bloody Mary is served up with Sake instead of vodka, with a spicey tomato and clam juice... read more

This is a very sweet place with a nice menu and very capable staff. It's in an area known for bars and more rowdy fare so it was really nice to go to an old-fashioned comfort food serving café. The wine was nice and reasonably priced, the chicken pot pie was a delicious comfort meal on a cold winter night.... More

We stopped by here early in the evening as it gets very busy quickly. The food is creative and delicious. I had chicken fried steak with an Korean chicken fried steak that was unlike anything I have tried before. Wines by the glass were excellent reasonable. My wife had the the chicken pot pie and it was like a warm... More

I recently moved to Baltimore and have been slowly trying out the local restaurants. This was my first time here and I took my fiance and my parents. The inside is very cozy, there's art hanging on the walls that is for sell and the tables are close together. For starters we ordered the: spinach pie, mac and cheese, meatball... More

Great stop in Federal Hill for a relaxed meal. We sampled soup, several brunch options, and dessert. One of those rare meals where everything was delicious. Server was friendly and attentive w/o being intrusive, familiar with the menu and enthusiastic about the quality of the food. Even though most tables were full, the noise level allowed easy conversation. The interior... More

Every single time that I visit SOBO, the experience is perfect...the food and the staff is always attentive and delicious. The food is always tasty and I always over eat! Linda, the manager, goes beyond to make the experience a great one.

A lovely cafe/restaurant open for Dinner and weekend Brunch. Food is very well prepared and very fresh. Service is friendly and prompt. Atmosphere is warm and friendly where there are many "regulars" and it seems everyone knows each other. Interesting creative preparations to Brunch standards. Weekend brunch gets crowded so reserve in advance.

I've eaten at SoBo Cafe several times and have never been disappointed. Their food is outstanding - the best Chicken Pot Pie I've ever had. But I've had many things on the menu and they are all simply excellent. Dinners, brunches - it doesn't matter. Everything I've ever had there has been prepared very well. You can't go wrong.

We went to SoBo as a second choice (our first choice had lines down the block...) for a Sunday brunch. It had been a while since I'd been to SoBo - and I'd only ever been there for dinners, so this was a bit like going to a brand new place. It was a lovely morning, so we sat outside... More
