My dinner at SoBo Café needs two scores. These guys earn high praise for food and terrible marks for service. For starters, we couldn't get a reservation until close to 9pm, even though the dining room was completely empty when we arrived about 8:30pm. We were greeted promptly and asked about 3 times in 3 minutes by 3 different people... More

What a delightful restaurant! This small cafe was a real surprise in Federal Hill. The staff was very very nice and yet professional but what was special was the food! The bacon flatbread had terrific flavor with all breads being made in house. We had the best chicken pot pie and one of the best hamburgers ever. Plan on going... More

My first visit to SoBo Cafe was quite memorable. My guest and I lucked-out and found street parking right in front of the restaurant (parking can be a little tricky in that part of Baltimore City). We were pleasantly greeted and welcomed at the door and seated immediately. The toughest part of the experience was trying to decide what to... More

There are a couple of local hotspots where you are sure to meet locals daily at the bar. This is one such spot. The staff treats everyone like family and also seem related to one another. the chef is creative and attentive to personal wants and requests. The wines by glass list is fun to sample. The prices are reasonable.... More

We'd planned to eat here on our trip to Baltimore before we left for a cruise. Ended up coming for lunch v dinner d/t a rainy day and we were so delighted. Started with a delicious local beer, and then went onto chicken pot pie for hubby and the smoked salmon(In house) sandwich for me. Nothing about either of these... More

The Korean Chicken Fried Steak is amazing, and priced well at $16. Atmosphere is a nice change of pace for Federal Hill and Cross Street.

A delightful cafe with food as well considered and prepared as the finest restaurants in Baltimore. All dishes are prepared fresh from scratch. Quiet enough to have a conversation with your companions. Professional, courteous and enthusiastic staff. We will eat here whenever in Baltimore and most highly recommend it to all.

Eggs are one of my favorite breakfast foods. Especially when they're prepared a little differently than just two eggs over easy or scrambled with some toast. On this particular morning, I was craving shakshuka even though I've never had it before. Pictures of it looked awesome and I knew it was right up my alley. After a quick search on... More

I live just down the street and I'm glad because this is one of the best spots in Baltimore. The food is always great and they have a few nice staples that stay on the menu. The cocktails are creative, it's always busy and the service is good. It's hard to get a seat on a Friday or Saturday night... More

Excellent restaurant with great ambiance, attentive staff and, most importantly, fantastic food. My steak (with bacon, onion butter!!) was prepared perfectly and my vegan buddy’s meal was also spot on. Cannot go wrong with Sobo Café.
