Never fails to please, and seems to do so effortlessly. Even the house salad showcases surprising juxtapositions of flavor and texture. Comfort yourself with the roasted chicken on perfectly dressed greens or the insanely good BLT on a house made biscuit. Inventive cocktails and aps like the feta spread or luscious mussels make for a lovely happy hour.

This place has wonderful food and wine and beer. The space is a moderate size and can be noisy if it is crowded. They do take reservations. It is also in a cool neighborhood which made me feel younger.

We have eaten here 3 times and my husband particularly loves the mussels. Warm comfortable atmosphere and inventive menu. Lots of regulars. Special features various nights of the week if you are watching your budget.

I have had brunch here a few times. The menu is both creative and varied including a few vegetarian options. First off, very friendly staff, clean and inviting dining area. We were seated quickly even without a reservation, but the place filled up quickly. Drinks available from the bar but our party just ordered coffee. The coffee was great and... More

Visited this place twice last weekend because it was just. that. good. Went first for lunch to try the place before brunch with my boyfriend's mother the next morning. For lunch, I got the chicken pot pie, my boyfriend got the BLT on a biscuit. Ridiculously good. Generous portions for the price and lots of options for sides, etc. The... More

Having read recent reviews about the service I must say that the staff were very attentive (maybe they have acted on the reviews). They appeared fully staffed and on top of things. There was a reasonable but not excessive choice of food and a good selection of draft beers. While the food was not bad it didn't knock me off... More

Had dinner there Friday p.m. with friends. The chicken pot pie was the best of the four main dishes ordered at our table. Never having been to Balt before, we ate at 3 other places which we liked better and probably won't go back.

My dinner at SoBo Café needs two scores. These guys earn high praise for food and terrible marks for service. For starters, we couldn't get a reservation until close to 9pm, even though the dining room was completely empty when we arrived about 8:30pm. We were greeted promptly and asked about 3 times in 3 minutes by 3 different people... More

What a delightful restaurant! This small cafe was a real surprise in Federal Hill. The staff was very very nice and yet professional but what was special was the food! The bacon flatbread had terrific flavor with all breads being made in house. We had the best chicken pot pie and one of the best hamburgers ever. Plan on going... More
