Excellent house made beers, some of which pack a 7.5% punch. The food was very good as well; enjoyed the hanger steak and fries, the duck was delish, but the highlight of the evening was the cheesecake made with goat milk. Absolutely sublime!

At the bar we ordered each ordered a martini. That was a poor choice. Though the numerous bartenders on hand really worked at it, you would be wise to stick with their excellent beer choices (some made on premises) or choose wine. We then had dinner in the dining room. The mussels were excellent, in a broth that is different... More

We went to dinner last night and sat in dining room. Pretty cool decor with the old building architecture flair. Server was knowledgable and explained everything perfectly. Plates were beautifully prepared. The table all ordered something different. I had the pork tenderloin which was good but not fantastic. My son liked the hanger steak (especially the fries that came with... More

We Dined Out For Life at The Brewer’s Art, since they were donating 50% of the proceeds to the fight against AIDS and to support Movable Feast. I haven’t been here for dinner in a very long time and most of my friends have never dined upstairs. I was running late and super hungry (as usual). We order 3 apps... More

Very good beer and beer selection. Did not eat here but stopped in for a couple beers and glad we did. The architecture and interior design is great, love the tap handles for their personally brewed beers, and has a good feel and ambience.

We had dinner in the bar area, since the menu was a bit more expansive. In the bar area, you can choose from both the dining room menu and the bar menu - in the dining room just the dining room menu. I'm not sure how this makes sense, but we opted to sit in the bar before we caught... More

Sorry to write this review.. I was so disappointed when I saw the menu, which was very limited. No chicekn, no portk, but they had beef, duck and quail. The fish menu were stripe bass, swordfish or smoked trout. The only entree I could choose was a smoked trout, and it was kind of bland. The appetizer Caesar salad was... More

This is really a good indie bar - the food is delicious (maybe a bit pricey in the restaurant - upstairs), the beer is very good (try the Ozzy and the Resurrection - all locally produced brewed; but they also have Framboise and cherry flavored beer which is also good). The bar downstairs is a good place to watch Baltimoreans... More

I really enjoyed my sampler of Brewer's Arts own beers and it was only $6 during happy hour! The rosemary fries and Cuban sandwich were delicious. It was worth the parking of $12.50 expense to try this place.

Went here a few weeks ago for dinner and some drinks. I got the Cuban sandwich...it was really good and the pickled okra added a nice twist to a standard Cuban. At $13 I felt it was a little overpriced but it was very good. The beer here is also very good. I sat upstairs in the bar, but they... More
