Great Food, Nice Cocktails, Sucky Coffee

A romantic dinner for two was what we were looking for and what we got: interesting cocktail menu, appetizers, and fabulous unusual entrees. The service was impeccable and unobtrusive. The Victorian library ambiance was fun and we dressed up for it although many were more casual. The only... read more

On a recommendation from another bartender in town we went to Brewers Art and we couldn't have been happier! Great beers and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Didn't get to try the food but what we saw looked amazing. Give it a try, you can't go wrong!

I happen to be a big fan of veal so when an old friend and I decided to go to Brewer's Art during Restaurant Week we both chose the Jagerschnitzel. We both had the same impression, fine as far as it went, but the meat was on the touch side. The service was only average but you expect that during... More

While walking into this restaurant you see an awesome looking bar area lots of hip couples having cocktails looking towards the back you see a restaurant area nice tablecloth all seem to be pretty full and lively. As the bar it was so crowded they told us there was another bar downstairs we proceeded downstairs found a table and then... More

My first visit to Baltimore, first visit to Brewer's Art (of course). I thoroughly enjoyed the evening with a wonderfully prepared elk loin served with roasted brussel sprouts and wee turnips, wow that was a great combination of flavors which complimented the beers and made me feel a little bit like autumn. The service was great and the staff made... More

The dining and lounge spaces occupy a series of adjoining rooms, each with a somewhat different personality. This helps buffer noise levels and conversations are easy. The service was solid and the food really quite good, with some thoughtful details.

We went after a visit to the symphony. Food was excellent, service friendly and attentive. Noise level just right for conversation. Try the Steak Frite and the Pork Sauerbraten.

My husband and I came here based on a recommendation from a friend. We wanted a brewery experience but the venue presented more like a midscale restaurant. We were told that the brewery is only open on Saturday--doh! After a lengthy and kind of confusing conversation with the hostess on where we could sit, we decided to sit in the... More

Since neither of us are great beer drinkers, we stuck to the sangria.Extensive beer menu. Appetizers were clams and the pate. Both excellent. We both had the elk which was cooked perfectly.

A bartender, bar back and the manager were super rude to my friends and I. I was really disappointed with the way we were treated, and the fact that they didn't care if we told people was shocking. They took our business then got in our faces and couldn't even give us a good reason for asking us to leave... More
