Brewer's Art is located in the Mount Vernon section of Baltimore -- a few blocks from the Washington Monument. It is located in an old brick building. There are 2 separate dining areas, one casual and one upscale. Stopped in on a Wednesday evening about 6pm and the place was hopping. Bar area was full (not a large/long bar, but... More

We had tickets to a show at the Lyric Opera House and wanted to dine close by within walking distance and so made reservations here, based on prior TripAdvisor reviews. We were seated immediately. Our server, Cory, was the best. Attentive, polite, conversational but not to the point of becoming our new best friend. We had questions about the building... More

Delicious food and exceptional service! Lucky locals get to enjoy Brewer's Art and visitors can only do so less frequently. Plan to dine here and not be disappointed!

Quiet little bar and restaurant nestled back in the heart of Mount Vernon. I tried two of the home - made beers which were fantastic. It was also burger night which was a wonderful 8 oz burger, plenty of food for one. Atmosphere was on par for the location... Please try the beer! also, the shorter bar tender with glasses... More

I had one of my favorites, the Austrian Cheese Spread, aka Liptauer cheese, but this time they provided different bread; I asked about it and it comes from a new restaurant in Towson, and is chewy, the way I like it, and wonderful. My mother used to make this cheese spread so it has special meaning for me.

This place is such a staple in my life that I've never thought to review it. Have not had the full dining experience, but it looks lovely. This review is for the bars (upstairs and downstairs) and the "bar" food. Using quotation marks because the food is well above your average bar fare. The atmosphere is unbeatable and very Baltimore.... More

The waitstaff were great, they let the kids order from the bar menu, the beer Ozzie was fabulous but the steak was the worst I have ever eaten. It was tough and overcooked even though the waiter recommended and I took medium rare. Best thing I tasted was the scollops. Won't go back.

I've traveled to Belgium 3 times in the past 3 years. True, the beer is vastly superior to most of what the US has to offer in terms of Belgian style brews, but this little pub has some interesting and tasty brews at a reasonable price--it may be an exception. My buddy and I tried various beers on Monday (IMPORTANT:... More

I've honestly never eaten in the restaurant but the basement bar is like no other. They serve only their craft beer and its always unique and delicious. Get there early and grab a seat it can get crowded on Friday and Saturday nights.

Try Mac-n-Cheese which is baked and served in a hot cast iron skillet. The Rosemary Garlic fries are very good. It is always very crowded. Great for groups.
