Brewer's Art is the go-to place for the twenty-something hipster crowd. When you walk in, you definitely get the feeling you're being judged because, well, you are. I came here with my girlfriends for drinks, we all agreed that the mixed drinks were very weak in addition to being a little pricey. We also ordered fries, which were very thin... More

Went here for dinner the other night when I was in town. I love the decor, vintage meets trendy, which sets up a wonderful atmosphere. We ate dinner, ordered a lot of different plates and shared. Everything we ordered was delicious. The cheese plate was a bit skimpy, I would probably skip it next time. The Rosemary Garlic Fries are... More

If you're in Baltimore and you appreciate good beer, stop here. The restaurant is extremely charming and the downstairs bar feels like a throwback. The beers are excellent and it's fairly central to many other Baltimore sights.

Picked this restaurant pre-symphony two blocks away. 4 stars is due to (1) ambiance, appealing middle dining area, lovely architecture and lively forefront bar (a bit loud but this is a brew pub), (2) service, very attentive with clear desire to please (3) beer, very good craft beer, and (4) laid back, not fussy. The area which could improve is... More

Good Service. Very Helpful Staff. Seated us even though we were an hour early for our reservation on graduation weekend. Steak Frites are a must. A little noisy

Very nice setting in this well established neighborhood on Charles st. The place is vibrant, a bit noisy on the bar scene, but less so in the restaurant proper. The staff is efficient, friendly and helpful. The menu is simple and varied, attractive and affordable. The food is well prepared and attractively presented. I had the Amish chicken and my... More

We came here upon a recommendation from another server we had this week. The bar area was full but we found the hostess and they explained that they had two menus and strongly suggested we were looking for the more relaxed one in the basement. The basement is barely lit and it felt like we were participating in a secret... More

This is our favorite place. Very tastee food that does not leave you feeling like you ate a salt lick soaked in oil, like so many restaurants. The favor of the food itself comes out. The house beers are always great, never drink anything else.

Brewer's Art is located in the Mount Vernon section of Baltimore -- a few blocks from the Washington Monument. It is located in an old brick building. There are 2 separate dining areas, one casual and one upscale. Stopped in on a Wednesday evening about 6pm and the place was hopping. Bar area was full (not a large/long bar, but... More

We had tickets to a show at the Lyric Opera House and wanted to dine close by within walking distance and so made reservations here, based on prior TripAdvisor reviews. We were seated immediately. Our server, Cory, was the best. Attentive, polite, conversational but not to the point of becoming our new best friend. We had questions about the building... More
