An old friend

Hadn't been to Ikaros in a couple of years and was more than pleased when we returned. The fresh, bright interior and welcoming host started our evening off perfectly. We immediately felt at home. The four of us started by sharing three different Greek salads and they were so filling, with a bottle... read more

This place was average to not. Everything we had was overcooked. Even the lamb chops which is something they specialize in making. The vegetables are all darks fm withered-limp because they are all over cooked. They serve a French bread and olive oil for a complimentary start. This is a Greek place why not have some type of breads traditional... More

I have enjoyed Greek Cuisine in New York, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco but, having patronized Ikaros for the past twenty six years, I can honestly say that the Greek Chefs at Ikaros prepare the best cuisine I have ever tasted. The owner, Xenos (Zeenos) and his son Constantine, warmly greet every patron like they are "family" and,... More

After moving out of the area a couple of years ago, I missed their Greek village salad, the saganaki (flaming cheese) and the whole rockfish grilled. With only one free night, we headed to Ikaros and were not disappointed. The small salad is enough for two. The dressing is better than any I can make (or buy), but, after asking,... More

Had a craving for Greek food and knew that I wouldn't be disappointed at Ikaros. I wasn't! The fried calamari is the best anywhere. The service was excellent. I'm sorry I didn't get the server's name but he was an older gentleman who was VERY attentive and friendly. Prices were reasonable. They even had a gentleman playing guitar. You can't... More

Each time we go there it is awesome. The wait staff is wonderful and friendly and truly wants you to have a great experience. The Greek salads are wonderful, the calamari is out of this world, best I have ever eaten and oh those deserts.

If I'm going to go out for Greek food, Ikaros is no longer the only game in town. The last 2 times I have been there since they moved locations I have just found the food to be ok. Fun time though and still worth a try once to see for yourself.

Tried this place using a Groupon. The food was very good. Waiter worked with me concurring food intolerances with the menu, he made sure the glasses were full and that things were good. I tried the stuffed grape leaves, they were very good. Wife and other family members did the cheese and spinach pies. They were excellent. I had the... More

First off, the food was absolutely disgusting! I mean really TERRIBLE! One girl in our party vomited in the restroom and had to leave early. We came for a birthday dinner to the murder mystery event. The acting was HORRIBLE, RUDE, TOO LOUD and Muffled. The "Bride" was just awful! The plot was waaaaaaaaaaaay tooooooo long. We left before it... More

Ikaros has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Baltimore. We had an amazing time! The food, the service, everything was absolutely splendid. I personally loved the fresh grilled rock fish and the spinach pie! Not to mention the terrific sweets. Mr. Xenos is always an excellent host!
