Our waiter was excellent and the food was wonderful

I had a beef dish and my husband had duck. The food was prepared wonderfully, the service was super and the waiter had a wonderful knowledge of wine selections. I would definately go there again and recommend it to others.

Ate there as a celebration for our daughter's graduation at Johns Hopkins. Unlike a previous reviewer, I loved the tight convivial feel that made me feel like is was back in Italy. Wonderful space- high ceilings, murals, huge mirrors, rich fabrics. Service was very friendly and attentive. Food not rushed (again, Italy). Pasta home made and melt in the mouth.... More

We took our board to dinner here on the Saturday of the Preakness and college graduations. They packed us into a space that was too tight for a fine dining experience. There were not enough servers. Our pre-orders (wine and appetizers) were seemingly unknown to our server even though we had been assurded he was informed. After one bottle, they... More

I really liked this restaurant, from the warm welcome by a young man named Sean (sp?), who couldn't have been nicer or more well-versed about the menu, and the space itself was charming with a blend of old and new that I really liked. Food was excellent, the kitchen knows what they're doing here, and the drinks were equally delish.... More

The food is wonderful-- everything is fresh and handmade with exquisite care. Authentic Italian at its best! Sotto Sopra is also the most romantic restaurant in Baltimore. Forget Little Italy: get up to Mt. Vernon and experience this lovely place. Chef Riccardo may be the best chef in Baltimore! Must go!!

We have the prix fixe menu at our first visit and it was wonderful-especially the pasta course (butternut squash perline) and fried artichoke. Second visit (for a special occasion) was good, but not as enjoyable. Our server was very knowledgeable.

I was there with a group of six and it took us a full three hours to get through dinner. Everyone's food was great - I had the Osso bucco which I still have dreams about! The server was okay - seemed a little annoyed to be waiting on a group of middle aged women, but eventually got us our... More

This was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. The waiter was much too talkative telling us how everything is just wonderful. You must taste this and that. They brought the bread. It was simply old! It was greasy after someone tried to give it a life and put it in the oven to slightly burn it at the... More

Enjoyed sharing small plates with family. Excellent food and wine, great service.More burrata, maybe less salami would have been nice. Will go back.
