lLast night Sotto Sopra celebrated their 18th birthday- I was in town and had not eaten there in a long time- what a treat- the calamari were the best that I have had en a long time- the homemade gnocchi were outstanding. They have a very nice wine list-so needless to say we picked out a very nice red wine-... More

My wife and I dined at Sotto Sopra a few years ago and we were not happy. But a friend invited me to lunch there yesterday and I was both surprised and pleased! I got a great parking spot on the street right in front of the restaurant. We were there at 11:30 so we were virtually alone upon entry,... More

The food was truly excellent. My sea bass was exquisitely prepared and perfectly accompanied with the butternut squash purée, gnocchi and veggie slaw. The prosciutto appitizer with the fried artichoke was wonderful. Festive atmosphere, nice decor and great raspberry sorbetto dessert with gingerbread fingers. Only downside, the bread competed with the food to such an extent that we placed it... More

We had a group of 3 arrive at 6 for friday dinner before a local show at 8. Our waitress was very attentive and got us through a very pleasant meal in just the right time without feeling rushed. Our appetizers arrived quickly. The prosciutto flatbread was visually overwhelmed with the prosciutto, but the flavor was complemented with warm provolone.... More

My husband and I dined here on a particularly busy Saturday evening. Rather than wait for a 9 p.m. reservation time, we opted to eat at the bar. We were glad we did! The bar staff was extremely attentive, even with it being so crowded. We were not rushed or ignored, even though we had a full course meal there.... More

I ordered their house made fettuccine noodles with bolognaise sauce and my husband ordered the filet steak with asparagus. I also ordered the Caesar salad which comes out looking like a basket of some sort. Very inventive. We finished with a tiramisu and cappuccino. The BEST meal of all of Baltimore, hands down. The cocktails were lovely and so was... More

Went with a group of girls and received great service. The food was even better. I would highly recommend the ravioli, as they were the best I've ever had. Definitely fresh, homemade pasta.

My sister and I enjoyed a fabulous 3 course dinner during Restaurant Week. It was a treat to have a $30.00 dinner for the prices are usually rather high. We were seated immediately, the most attentive staff in all categories gave us wonderful, helpful and courteous service throughout the entire evening. We were, however, surprised as the bill was presented,... More

My wife and I ate here for Restaurant Week, as we had heard so much about their incredible Italian food. We are certainly glad that we chose Sotta Sopra, as the flavors of the courses that we chose and the superior service were fantastic. A few of the dishes we elected: *Squid-ink-colored spaghetti with crab and some other seafood *Duck... More
