Excellent food and service

Fresh Italian specialties in the first floor of a restored row house. We had the pumpkin ravioli, steak with coffee rub, goat cheese salad and Osso Bucco. All were fantastic. Service was unobtrusive, friendly and very prompt. Their desserts were delicious I am told, but since almost every dessert... read more

We salute Monica and Riccardo for again creating a varied and interesting menu for Restaurant Week. You outshine every other restaurant. It was so hard to pick from such a delicious plethora of choices. We were delighted with our server, Lindsay. She was friendly and so attuned to our needs. From the appetizers, to the entrees, to the dessert, we... More

Kills me to say but this place needs a makeover. The interior, the decor, the website, the wine list, the music, the service and for gosh sakes the MENU! We have been visiting here 4 times a year for 6 years for business and always stop in. The chef, WILLIAM, is incredible. If it weren't for his specials we would... More

The homemade pasta here is superb. The service is attentive and gracious, the space is relaxing and the menu outstanding. There is also a lengthy wine list. They should tell customers that the large pasta dishes are also available as a 1/2 portion for an appetizer or to share tapas-style. One of Baltimore's very best.

Went there on a cold January Saturday night. It was to celebrate GF's birthday. Can't call it a quiet, secluded, romantic space. It is one big, open, busy, pretty tight room but with good décor and energetic vibe. We were right in there with the rest of the crowd. But everyone there seemed there to have a good meal, nice... Found this place from a Google search of "Most romantic dinner locations in Md" I must say it did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the owner who was a kind guy with a great sense of humor. We were waited on immediately, the staff took their time to explain the specials and what the... More

Sotto Sopra never dissapoints. The menu had many options but I always love to try the specials. These creations are always great. In particular I recommend the soup. Sometimes the flavor sounds unique but it is always amazing. On this night the carrot soup was fantastic. I highly recommend this place for ambiance, service, wine list and food.

We happened upon this restaurant while we were in Baltimore recently for a holiday party. It was a quick walk from our Hotel in the Inner Harbor. We did need a reservation but were able to get one the evening we were there at a not terrible time. When we walked in, the smell was overwhelmingly incredible. There were people... More
