I simply can't offer enough superlatives for Samos. I've been coming here for twenty plus years and have only grown to further appreciate the food as time has passed. We stopped here for lunch and while it doesn't look like much from the outside, the food was really good. I loved my chicken lemon soup and my husband enjoyed the olive tampenade. The stuffed grapeleaves were good, not great. The tzatziki sauce was very good. Keep in mind this place is cash only.

The food is great. The only drawback is the place is small and the wait can be long on weekends. But the result is worth the wait. The staff is attentive and just " darn right nice". I would recommend to anyone who likes the best fish and lamb dishes Greek style.

This is only my second time here and I wonder why any one buys tzaziki when it is so flavorful made fresh. Again who would buy any pita bread or store bought pita when it comes out soft savory just scrumptious. The shrimp halumi is also delish..

Visiting family in town and went to Samos for dinner. First visit back in at lest 10 years and the place hasn't missed a beat. Pastitsio, lamb, char grilled kalamari all just the way I remembered it. A little bit more wear and tear but they have been there almost forever. Could use a little updating but updating doesn't fill... More

What a great little spot. Small, not many tables so get there early. The wait staff was very friendly. We brought the kids on a Saturday night early 5ish and the place wasn't too packed but no kids were there throughout our meal. They had the high chair needed. Great! My son is gluten free and they were able to... More

After seeing so many positive reviews for this place, my daughter and I decided to go. Every aspect of our meal here was delicious. The tzatziki sauce was good, the Greek salad was great (with very fresh feta on top), and the chicken souvlaki was yummy. The service was attentive and friendly. The prices were reasonable. Overall, this is a... More

Samos is like having a greek grandma cooking for you. It just warms my belly with love every time I do. Definetly order the dolmades. Soooo good! And it's BYOB!

Right in the middle of Greek Town in Baltimore. A nice place to grab some tasty Greek food. I went there for lunch and was happily pleased. Being Greek we tend to judge as if grandma was cooking but this place is a good pit stop. The traditional mousaka was ok and the meat and orzo was good also. The... More

Samos is a great experience and it is located in Baltimore's Greektown. There is a wait almost as soon as they open. Greek music entertains throughout the meal. The food is wonderfully, though, I'm not Greek. Great selection of soups; lentil, seafood and Chick Pea with kale. The later was perfect. The other traditional dishes were as good as I've... More
