Have been eating here well over 20 years. I have never had a bad meal or service. Weather dining in or carryout. Everything is fresh, delicious, and homemade. My all time favorite is the pekeila (sp) platter. There is a taste of gyro, souvlaki, Greek salad, roasted vegetables, pita bread and taziki sauce. There are different variations you can change... My friend has raved over this place for years! It was really true. Besides having a fabulous gyro that was good to the last bite, we ordered garlic shrimp in cheese pastry. Really buttery, soft, but crispy edged filo. We were full but couldn't resist an order of loukumades. Fried dough balls soaked in a honey syrup, sprinkled with cinnamon... More

Samos has become my go-to restaurant in Baltimore. It's not "conveniently" located to downtown, but it's not far from the hot spots of Fells Point and Canton, and it's just off I-95. Located in two "converted" rowhouses they offer seating for approximately 30 people. If you plan to visit at a busy time of day, be prepared for a wait...... More

Yes, the previous reviews are accurate. Best Greek meal in town!(our opinion for sure). Parking can be a pain, small cramped space, dated decor, lines can be long and of course bring cash! Aside from the above listed "issues", recent visit was as tasty as always and this is why we repeat.Wide menu selection. For those that can't decide, try the... More

It's cash only and BYOB. There are no reservations, so you may have to wait a little on the weekends but it is WELL worth it. Everything is great! All greek specialties are the best in town and their house dressing is fantastic!

Nestled in an unassuming neighborhood with absolutely no fanfare, an excellent Greek restaurant serves regulars and newcomers fresh and fabulous meals. The portions are large, and the prices are moderate. Bring your appetite and your cash; you will need both. Samos does not accept credit cards.

This has some of the best Greek food I have ever had. The lamb chops are a must get. They are so tender and juicy. I did the Greek tour with a friend of mine it is the best way to sample a bit of everything. The service was good too just remember this is Cash only
