My Go To Best Greek in Baltimore DC Area

We go here several times each year. Love everything but addicted to the lamb chops. This time all was good, grilled vegetables, lamb chops, Taziki sauce, Greek salad, male kabobs. Cash only and BYOB.

We found Samos on TA and since it was not to far from our hotel it was a perfect choice. Samos is a small place. It is in a neighborhood and you will find parking. It is NOT a scary neighborhood like others in town. They also only take cash but there is an ATM inside in case you need... More

You may have to wait at this place but it is worth if for the wonderful food. It's BYOB so bring your favorite bottle of wine. I recommend the whole baked branzino fish and the grilled shrimp among other things. If you are lucky they may have the fried dough balls with honey (loukomades) for dessert.

Basic Greek cuisine here. Not the greatest. Not bad. Quite average. Cash only. It's a BYOB place. My wife had a mixed seafood dish, with a huge amount of spaghetti under 3 shrimp, 3 scallops, and some calamari. I had the souvlaki, which was rather dried out. All main courses come with an unexciting Greek salad. Potatoes were overcooked. Not... More

Dinner for two was $54, Delightful Greek salad and dressing was just right, feta cheese rich in flavor but not too salty. As others have remarked, gyro meat was delicious. Combo platter (cant' remember name) was very good as well, special marks for the veggies on the platter. We liked them so much we asked for seconds and waitress obliged... More

The atmosphere was very relaxed and provided the best environment for my meal to be enjoyed. The gyro was especially delicious, and the taziki sauce was top notch. I stopped by during a short trip in Maryland and I would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through.

Wow, what a great Greek Gyro! Best ever, by far. Authentic neighborhood restaurant in Greek Town just a two minute drive from Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. I'd drive across town for that again! Caution: They only take cash!

Excellent Greek food and inexpensive. Lunch for 2 under $20. Cash only and no reservations but it's worth the slight wait. Wait staff is busy but friendly.

We stopped by this restaurant for lunch on our way to the airport since we had a few hours to kill and we wanted the highest rated Greek restaurant on TripAdvisor. You would probably never see this place if you were just driving around the neighborhood, but luckily we knew the address and had our GPS going. It is at... More
