Visiting family in town and went to Samos for dinner. First visit back in at lest 10 years and the place hasn't missed a beat. Pastitsio, lamb, char grilled kalamari all just the way I remembered it. A little bit more wear and tear but they have been there almost forever. Could use a little updating but updating doesn't fill... More

What a great little spot. Small, not many tables so get there early. The wait staff was very friendly. We brought the kids on a Saturday night early 5ish and the place wasn't too packed but no kids were there throughout our meal. They had the high chair needed. Great! My son is gluten free and they were able to... More

After seeing so many positive reviews for this place, my daughter and I decided to go. Every aspect of our meal here was delicious. The tzatziki sauce was good, the Greek salad was great (with very fresh feta on top), and the chicken souvlaki was yummy. The service was attentive and friendly. The prices were reasonable. Overall, this is a... More

Samos is like having a greek grandma cooking for you. It just warms my belly with love every time I do. Definetly order the dolmades. Soooo good! And it's BYOB!

Right in the middle of Greek Town in Baltimore. A nice place to grab some tasty Greek food. I went there for lunch and was happily pleased. Being Greek we tend to judge as if grandma was cooking but this place is a good pit stop. The traditional mousaka was ok and the meat and orzo was good also. The... More

Samos is a great experience and it is located in Baltimore's Greektown. There is a wait almost as soon as they open. Greek music entertains throughout the meal. The food is wonderfully, though, I'm not Greek. Great selection of soups; lentil, seafood and Chick Pea with kale. The later was perfect. The other traditional dishes were as good as I've... More

My wife and I had taken a trip to Santorini in 2011. The octopus there was so good. Living in South-Central PA, we simply have nowhere to go that is close to even try octopus. We looked online and after some research, found that Samos in Baltimore had octopus on the menu, albeit as an appetizer. If their octopus would... More

I admit that my review is biased in that I used to work there (over 30 years ago). BUT... I can honestly say that their food is the best and continues to be so many years later. Nick has always bent over backwards to make sure his customers are happy and the food he serves is the best. Samos's gyros... More

We could see when we stopped in here, it was a local favorite. Everyone seemed to know everyone else. Friendly, hard working staff. Write your own name on the list and expect a wait. The wait is worth it. Great greek food.

Samos is the place to go for Greek in Bmore. It's still small after the renovation and people will wait at busy times but it's worth the wait! Local cops, firefifghters, business folks and neighbors wait patiently for the best Greek salads, gyros, spanikopita in the town.
