I admit that my review is biased in that I used to work there (over 30 years ago). BUT... I can honestly say that their food is the best and continues to be so many years later. Nick has always bent over backwards to make sure his customers are happy and the food he serves is the best. Samos's gyros... More

We could see when we stopped in here, it was a local favorite. Everyone seemed to know everyone else. Friendly, hard working staff. Write your own name on the list and expect a wait. The wait is worth it. Great greek food.

Samos is the place to go for Greek in Bmore. It's still small after the renovation and people will wait at busy times but it's worth the wait! Local cops, firefifghters, business folks and neighbors wait patiently for the best Greek salads, gyros, spanikopita in the town.

We love the food here as it is always full of flavor and they give you an overabundance of it. The reasons that keep me from rating this place higher than average are the fact that they only take cash and that the service is spotty. Often times we have caught major attitude by one of the waitresses and the... More

We visited Samos on a Monday night around 5:00. It was not busy, we were served promptly and the server was nice but not overly friendly. We got a hummus appetizer, which was pretty standard. There was way more hummus than the amount of bread they originally gave us, but we asked for more and it was provided. Each adult... More

This was the finest Greek food that we have ever eaten in a restaurant. To really experience the broad array of menu possibilities, we recommend the "The Tour of Samos". We also had a separate order of lamb chops, which were delicious. Along with many Samos regulars and newbies, there was a highly visible Baltimore luminary dining that evening. The... More

we've been visiting this place for quite some time but wanted to share our feelings about it. if you're looking for a little taste of Greece then this is the place. Always consistent in taste and portion. Always fresh. I love the fact that the same people have been working there for years. they know us when we walk in.... More

Food was delicious, especially the gyros! Yummy pita bread too. Service, however, was disappointing. The server was friendly as all hell so no complaints there, but never checked up on us and ran away as soon as she set our salads and entrees on the table. When we walked out after we paid our check, she was talking to other... More

Samos was always a regular dining spot for us when we lived in the area. We would take out of town visitors and they always enjoyed the local family owned restaurant. Waiting in line and finding a parking spot were always a challenge. The service was always pleasant and the food excellent. Greek salad, gyros, lamb skewers, baklava, home made... More

We had to wait a very long time- over an hour. Thankfully we live nearby and could come back. The food was absolutely delicious and very big portions. The lamb chops were to die for and their homemade salad dressing was very good. Also love the fact that it's BYOB- the first time in a long time going out to... More
