Have been eating here for over 30 years and a visit is mandatory for me whenever I am in the Baltimore/DC area. The crab cakes are the best I've ever eaten and I always order a crab cake sub to go so I can experience again when I get home to CT. Portions are large at this classic American diner.

I honestly thought this place would be better since it was on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. I am not impressed. I have been here at least ten times in the last six months and each time is worst than the last. Late night service is terrible to non existent. Don't go on a Monday or Tuesday because they are out... More

Got the Mediterranean meal. It was heavy but good. Great value for price. I had a tough time finishing it. Decor is like an old diner. Co-worker heard about it on DDD and they had jumped all over the publicity and actually names some of the food items as DDD specials. Staff was friendly but it did take a while... More

With 24 hours in Balt More (spelled like the locals say it)...I always look for a DDD location for dinner. The Big GUY did not disappoint. Family of 4 had some down home chocalate chip pancake, gyro, Chicken/Shrimp Cheeesteak, and a classic grilled chicken greek platter. Very Good and Highly Reccomended. Can't beat the prices for the quality. This is... More

My daughter moved to Baltimore so my wife looked in her DDD book to see where Guy went in this town. We found this little Greek Diner. The food was excellent from the DDD special, crabcakes and spandicopita (Greek spinach pie), to the calamari, and gyros. The cooks pump out the food really fast, so if you're hungry you won't... I had a turkey sandwich topped with gravy and it was exceptionally good, just like mother used to make. My guest had the meatloaf, and mashed potatoes which were made from scratch, and he said the meal was delicious. The restaurant has been remodeled since the old days, so it lost a little of its visual Baltimore "charm" but it... More

First off, we went at 1am, which is probably not the same experience as at 2pm. It was crowded, loud, full of drunk people, and basically awesome. The waitress was civil, even to us, who were spilling out of the booths. And somehow, it was even more crowded when we left an hour and a half later. I don't envy... More

Decided to come to Baltimore specifically for a 24 hour diner on black Friday. Ordered a cheese burger, fries, and a chocolate shake. Our waitress, who was super friendly, brought out our shakes while we waited for the food. The shakes came in the original tin they were blended in and were huge. My burger was exceptional and the fries... More

Huge menu with excellent options. Open 24 hrs. Small diner but oh so good! Awesome crabcake sandwich! Fresh, DELICIOUS, and fast. Greek specialties are top notch. Worth the wait! Be sure to not miss this one when visiting Baltimore!

Wanted to try it and was not disappointed. We had the crab cake omelette and it was fantastic. The home fries were also great. The service was great and everyone was friendly. We were seated immediately and were out in less than an hour. I wish I would have known it was 24 hours as I would have come late... More
