Every time I am in Baltimore, I eat at Charleston. The food is creative and delicous, and the service is always excellent. Wine list has a nice selection of American and International wines.

A very special occasion restaurant. The flavors of the food are extraordinarily bold, and absolutely perfect.

My wife and I have been to this place several times and each time over the last few years has been EXCELLENT. This place is nothing short of excellent. The only criticism is that the place is pretty expensive, however, upon reflection of the whole meal, worth the cost. This place isn't for everyday, but for a celebration, this place... More

This is a celebratory, top of the line restaurant. You cannot beat the quality of the food, the service or the ambience ANYWHERE in the mid-Atlantic. This is my go-to restaurant for special occasions and I'm NEVER disappointed.

Cindy Wolf is clearly an outstanding chef. I ate the Wild Alaskan Halibut, and the Fresh Artichoke dishes and both were Michelin 3 star standard. It is the intensity of flavour in the sauces alone that warrants that statement. Yukon Gold potato risotto with the tenderloin was also exceptional in its flavour. Friends put their Curried Lobster soup, Softshell crab... More

While visiting Baltimore for a wedding, we just happened to find this lovely restaurant. It was a Friday evening and we did not have a reservation, but we were immediately seated. The restaurant has a 3, 4 or 5 course menu. You may also choose the Chef's Choice menu. The staff was exceptionally helpful. We enjoyed all of our dishes,... More

When looking for that "special/unique" place for a 1 yr anniversary I came across the Charleston on Trip Advisor, Yelp, Google Reviews, etc. All were great so I decided to try it out for myself and my wife. Best decision ever, probably the best meal I ever had in my life. Lobster soup was fantastic, grilled beef tenderloin was cooked... More

On May 22, went to the Charleston to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from Johns Hopkins University. We arrived about 15 minutes early for our 6:30 reservation. We waited about 30 minutes, now 6:45, when another graduation party arrived (15 minutes late for their 6:30 reservation) to find out that there wasn't a reservation for the party. They became irate, threatening,... More
