First time diner. Sat at the bar. Bartenders were great about making suggestions for all of the amazing food. Ultimately I wish I had more room to try different meals. Just ask for suggestions based on your preferences. You can't go wrong. Cocktails were good to go! As an infrequent visitor to Charm City, it was my first time in... More

Met some friends there last night but there was a mix up regarding who was supposed to make reservations.....none were made and it was quite crowded. NOT A PROBLEM! They have one large table for walk-ins to share. Great idea. They have small, medium and large plates, all quite tasty and inventive. My Brussels salad was full of bacony goodness,... More

Very trendy and popular Hampden restaurant. Good food and prices have brought in the crowds. Their beet salad is one of the best we've ever had, meatloaf very tasty and shrimp and andouille entree delicious. A bit loud but don't let that stop you.

My esteemed spouse and I recently enjoyed an outstanding dinner at The Food Market. First, the valet parking (free, I must say!) was a great way to start a carefree evening. We then were wowed with entrees and appetizers that were just plain fun as well as delicious. Portions were generous, presentation excellent and the wide variety of choices made... More

Trendy spot with great food and very good service, plus free valet parking. Had the mussels appetizer, the Beets by Chad, rack of lamb and scallops with risotto. No room left for dessert :) This is not a place for intimate conversation due to the acoustics, but good for a friends' night out or family meal. If you get to... More

Staff is amazing. The fried oysters and beer cheese fondue were amazing. Entrees were also great. Someone else said it, but the trendy atmosphere that allows you to feel relaxed and classy at the same time is a hard thing to achieve. I'll be back next time in in Baltimore.

Went in to the food market for their Black Friday brunch buffet and didn't want to leave. Absolutely everything my group had was so tasty we must of gone back to the buffet 3 times each. Server was very attentive and made sure we got fresh mimosas whenever we needed. And the mimosas were the best, can't resist one in... More
