Just a brilliant local! Round the cornerfrom the Brookshire Suites. Our server - also the barman- was just so friendly and helpful - even when I asked for my dinner to come on different plates - my dinner arrived just as I asked for - and he was very busy. Great food and beer

Peter's crab cakes were probably the best I ever had, ALL meat, sweet and perfectly prepared! They also have a nice selection of draft beer, and the atmo suited me fine. Our waiter (Peter?) (tall man with a loud voice) was friendly and efficient, without hovering about. Prices seemed very reasonable for the downtown area.

They make the mix there, we asked. It was yummy! Had wonderful fries with gravy. Wasn't crazy about the open faved roast beef sandwich. Meat was dry and unflavorful to me. Worth going for drinks and snack.

Looking down an alley off of Lombard Street, we spotted the sign. Curious, we decided we make a stop here once our visit to the National Aquarium was completed. A simple bar atmosphere with patrons that come here often. A nice wine, a whiskey, and beer on tap. Look for the bar specials. We ordered the crab cake platter, which... More

We just happened to walk by the "now serving breakfast" sign and decided to check it out. For less than $10, we had a filling breakfast of eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast. Coffee was fresh and hot, but could have been stronger. Service was fast and friendly.

Food was excellent, had a chicken roll which was tasty and large in quantity. Food tasted fresh, it was simple but very good. Atmosphere was warm and staff were friendly. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We visited before and after a ball game, dressed in our Royal's gear. The staff and other customers were very friendly and made for a great environment. The sandwiches were good, the fries were great! We will have to go back for the crab cakes.

A BAR. Simple, even with plastic beer cups and dressing containers. But a good beer selection, good food, and great service. The setting is a typical tavern: specials written on the boards on the walls; lots of TVs with sports, dark wood; good fries. It is not easy to find, but if you want a local spot that is a... More
