Our Organic Philosophy The Agora Market & Wine Bar is located on the ground floor of the Inn at the Black Olive, Baltimore's premier organic boutique hotel. The cuisine of the Agora is founded in healing foods. We are proud not only to use food and superfood sourced from organic producers but from biodynamic, heirloom, and local suppliers. We feel that high nutrient content of our food is a basic principle. We trace these roots to the great healer Hipocrates. We believe our food is good medicine and we also take seriously the charge to make clean healthy balanced food that starts with the finest ingredients. We are well aware of the benefits of eating raw and organic food on the wellness of our guests. We are happy to share some of that knowledge and passion with you. We have included a list of some of the health benefits of the ingredients that we choose.

A thoroughly pleasant experience

I work near here, and going for lunch is always a refreshing break. The prices are very reasonable for what you get ($4.90 for a grilled cheese sandwich and cup of soup at a place with table cloths is unheard of in this neighborhood). The staff are also exceptionally friendly; on one visit, they... read more

After reading all of the positive reviews, I was really looking forward to eating at the Agora Organic Market. However, I am sad to say that my first experience there was not a very positive one. I got the lunch combination, which consisted of a cup of soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. The soup was very good, but the... More

A Baltimore native, I can tell you that this place is a must visit! All dishes are readily available, and the breakfast is just too awesome. It's worth the price (though does not seem too pricey). I would recommend that any one visiting from out of town put this in their "to eat at" list. The restaurant is quiet, relaxed... More

Hello. This establishment is on the main road but not easy to spot. Ordered the lamb pie with sweet potatoes. Excellent. Very healthy menu with nice choices for vegans and carnivores. Definitely stop in!

This was my first time at the Black Olive. I have heard wonderful things about this place and finally had the opportunity to try it out. As I was with a group of people, I can see the potential it has to be a romantic and scenic venue for couples or with a smaller intimate group. The food was delicious... More

Incredible food every single time. I've eaten both breakfast and lunch here and you can't find food that tastes this good anywhere else. The staff is super friendly as well and now they're doing delivery through Order Up - perfect!

A great spot for a simple lunch, with an extensive menu, including classic Mediterranean dishes prepared with care, at very reasonable prices. I had the felafel and it was yummy - pan fried instead of deep fried, moist, and tasty, with a tahini sauce laced with turmeric and a small side Caesar salad. Others in our group had spinach and... We have a LOT of lunch meetings and I will only order from Agora. The food is fabulous and the staff is first-rate. I would recommend dining in or using their catering services.
