Went with friends for dinner. Service from the beginning was excellent. We were busy talking and catching up the first 15 minutes and never looked at the menu. This review is base on five different visits to Wit & Wisdom all in the last few months. On visit one for dinner we had exceptional food and exceptional service. We thought it was one of our best meals in Baltimore. So good that when looking for a place to hold a dinner party for 50 people we chose Wit... More

We are from SF - where Michael Mina has several restaurants - so were were excited to see he had an option in Baltimore. We went here with our two pre-teens. The atmosphere is hip and casual. The restaurant and bar were large and a little noisy with an open kitchen. Our server was knowledgeable and efficient. The drink list... More

I have visited a few times but only for drinks. Decent drink menu and the staff is usually very nice if not a bit distant. We sat at the bar and only talked to our bar tender twice then had another bartender wait on us. Like the different seating areas. Can get busy as many people stay here on business.

The wait staff was too laid back for the Four Seasons. We tried to eat outside, were sent inside to talk to the hostess, who told us we need to just go back outside and take a seat. Then we got the wrong beer. The food was okay -- not memorable Will we go back -- only for the view!

If you are a fresh seafood lover, this is a great place. There is live jazz on Sundays, and always some special drinks. The dinner menu doesn't start until 5, so if you want the fresh seafood, don't go during the day. We had the scallop ceviche, amazing, and the shrimp, also amazing. The oysters were fresh and full, and... More

We have been Michael Mina fans for years with his signature outpost in San Fran and multiple ones in Vegas. But for some reason he wants to be like Wolfgang Puck and open outposts anywhere that will pay him. Wit & Wisdom lacks any creativity in food presentation, food preparation, ambiance and even the wine list is only 400 bottles.... More
