Amazing food and atmosphere

Went to Olive Room with family from out of town. Everything was amazing from the moment we stepped inside the lobby. We started with the grilled octopus, full of flavor and incredibly tender. Two members of our party did not want anything to do with it and once they tried it, it was all over... read more

The "OFF" is a bit of a pun, a reference to Parkinson disease, as we had a professional PD related event (~35 people) & also reference to the generally great other reviews on this place. Well, it's because of those other reviews why we picked this restaurant for our event. I was rather surprised for the poor experience and I... More

While we always appreciate customer reviews, whether positive or negative, certain aspects of this particular review need to be addressed, since the head chef, in particular, reviewed the claims about the cuisine and found them to be lacking in any basis. What our chef found is that each of the menu items criticized in the review were prepared in precisely... More

Great food. Can't wait to go back. Wine pairing with the pierced plates were tastey. Atmosphere was good. Definitely can be a great place for a romantic dinner.

My wife and I give this place six stars. The extra star comes from the selfless hospitality that the Olive Room staff, Dimitris in particular, showed us when we came to them a month before our wedding (having just concluded a terrible experience with The Waterfront Kitchen). I will break the experience down into three parts: 1) the Venue 2)... More

We stayed at the Inn and went upstairs to the 5th floor for dinner which was great because it is December and we never had to leave the building. however, we thought we were going to the Olive Restaurant but this was called the Olive Room. Once there it looked good, very small with great views of the harbor from... More

I recently hosted my mother's 80th birthday party in the Olive Room. It was a party for about 50 guests, that I planned from the West Coast. Guests came from around the country and from Europe. In short, the party could not have been more successful. Our guests, who frequent the best restaurants, raved about the food. Dimitris (the owner)... More

Dimitris and all the staff did a fantastic job with the food, the beverages, setting up a tv screen for a slide show and using our own playlist for music. The ingredients and special care that went into the crab cakes, grilled shrimp, hummus and all the food was evident as everything was fresh and delicious. When two guests arrived... More

We stumbled upon this gem just by walking past their sign board on the side walk. It's at the top level of an inn, so we didn't know what to expect until we rode the elevator up. We came at an off time - right as they opened at 5 P.M., which was too late for lunch and kind of... More

The Olive Room was an unexpected treat. Their location at the end of Harbor East provides stunning views of the Baltimore Inner Harbor. They have a super fun wine list and great little bites to eat. It's a great little treat, even if you're not staying at the hotel.
