A friend and I had dinner here at 7pm on a Sunday after a musical performance. The restaurant was nearly empty yet our service was very slow. Our server was friendly and attentive but preoccupied. Our entrees were very good but I thought it unusual that we were never asked if we'd like a salad or bread with our meal.... More

We had our entire family here after a religious ceremony. The staff was amazing and were very attentive to us. The atmosphere is festive yet elegant. The food is very good as well... Still thinking about my stuffed veal.

Wonderful and friendly greetings from the owner, Dino. The food is authentic Northern Italian and I have not been disappointed in the five years I've been coming. They feed and treat you better than family. Their food is of the best quality and usually has a unique twist, especially the special main course offerings. This is Northern Italian at it's... More

Located in a decent neighborhood in Baltimore. People are very nice. Had no reservation so we were seated in an adjacent bar seating area. Service was fair. Ordered crab soup special (no crab visible), fried Calamari (tasted like ammonia, probably bad, they took it off the check). Bronzino (fair), rock-fish special (smothered in a tomato based sauce), chicken parm (pretty... More

A group of friends went to this restaurant last night to celebrate New Year's Eve. That was a mistake! Our table was in a back room instead of the restaurant proper. The service was terrible, excruciatingly slow. My order (shrimp ravioli) was "lost" which resulted in my being served about ften minutes after everyone else. The ravioli tasted okay. We... More

My wife and I had an outstanding dinner at La Famiglia! Gambrel saltati (shrimp sautéed in garlic butter) and a cheese/crab dip for appetizers. I had a grilled three-seafood (shrimp, scallops & calamari) special and my wife had veal marsala. Everything was outstanding (except my wife thought the cheese/crab dip was too cheesy). Service was impeccable, friendly, and non intrusive.... More

This unassuming spot hosts a beautifully decorated restaurant with valet parking. It was especially pretty with the white lights this time of year and looks very upscale yet not stuffy. The cioppino was delicious as was the sea bass and Mahi Mahi. Great service and nice wine list.

Over the years I have visited different restaurants at this location. La Famiglia has been here circa 5 years. Friends rave about the cuisine so on a recent visit to Baltimore I dined there. The ambience has remained the same and the restaurant has retained strong support from the locals. The menu is extensive and the service, superb. I could... More

Good service, but the food preparation left a bit to be desired. The clams casino were swimming in butter....and the soft shell crabs sautéed in brown butter were saturated and just too greasy.....add that to a $12.00 Vodka and grapefruit juice, and it wasn't such a great evening.
