LOBSTER ROLL IN MARTHA'S VINEYARD

If you are in Martha's Vineyard, please go to Grace's Church. Every Friday they have fantastic lobster rolls with potato chips, pie and a drink for $16.00. It is worth the trip!

This place is tiny on the inside so make sure you make reservations well in advance or be prepared to wait. The good thing is you can have a drink/order from the raw bar menu right from the bar. The oysters are terrific but the crab cake was unbelievable. I know everyone raves about crab cakes and Maryland but this... More

Thames St Oyster House deserves its #1 rating on trip advisor!! Teresa Marconi was our very knowledgeable server, and from the rock octopus appetizer to our chocolate tart and blood orange gelato dessert, she never steered us wrong. Perfect meal!! Highly recommend Thames St Oyster House!!

It was Sunday lunchtime and we were visiting Baltimore in the midst of challenging times for Charm City. But you wouldn't know it in this part of town where colorful historical buildings line picturesque streets of a beautiful waterfront. We had heard very positive reviews and wanted to try this restaurant. Mistake number 1 we didn't reserve a table. The... More

My husband and I went here on a whim after reading such incredible reviews. We walked in on a Saturday at noon and although the upstairs of the restaurant was booked, the downstairs bar area had an open spot. We had their specialty cucumber bloody mary that had a refreshing twist to my usual brunch drink of choice. Then a... More

I would have to agree with the other reviews and say that this restaurant is, in a word, perfect. Of particular note is the checklist and pencil you get to order your own raw bar menagerie. There is a world of options when it comes to oysters (each with it's particular flavor and size noted). We ordered four different kinds... More

We were in Baltimore for the weekend and I insisted on finding seafood somewhere. While the NE corner of TN is nice it is not necessarily known for its seafood (save for Biggies in Kingsport!). A quick search on the cellphone turned up the Thames Oyster Bar. Be forewarned… the place is small with only a couple sit down tables,... More

Despite a mix-up (maybe mine) in the reservation, manager Nicole told us to come in and they seated us right away. She couldn't have been nicer. Heard about the lobster roll and it is amazing. Oysters Rockefeller were melt in your mouth delicious and the fried clams in the roll were large, succulent and very fresh. Homemade desserts, especially the... More

We had a reservation at 7:15 PM on a Wednesday evening, and the place was completely booked by 7:30 or so. Reservations are a MUST for dining upstairs. Service was a bit slow, perhaps because the place was packed. We found the upstairs to be pretty loud, although I'm sure it wasn't as loud as the bar area downstairs. Nevertheless,... More

Having heard great things from many people and having tried, unsuccessfully, to eat here on a walkin basis atleast half a dozen times, I was very excited for my wife and I's reservation tonight. The dining room does not open until 5:30 so we sat at the bar to enjoy happy hour that is 5 -7. 1 beer, 1 rum... More
