Wow!!!!!

The lobster roll is amazing. We ordered the seafood salad as well, but took that home after ordering a second lobster roll. The restaurant was booked but we found seats at the bar. I will definitely go back.

Terrific! That sums up our experience. The crab cakes and lobster roll were out of this world. Perfect service and a great atmosphere added to our enjoyment. We opted out of dessert there to walk over to a nearby gelato shop. We were there on a Tuesday and were glad we had a reservation. Be sure to call ahead.

Wonderful seafood restaurant. Our food was excellent. The oysters were great. The service is exceptional. Great bar menu. I would highly recommend this place.

Went here for a Sunday lunch and was able to get seating downstairs. Reservations necessary for upstairs dining. Oyster selection was great, reasonable prices for quality and portions. Service was outstanding. Only complaint was the few crab shells in my seafood salad. But not a deal breaker, would definitely return.

On an impromptu celebration, called on Friday night for Saturday reservations, but was told they were booked 3 to 4 weeks in advance! However, the very nice person on the phone suggested coming in early the next day and getting on a wait list. We did and got one of the high tables by the bar immediately, an hour before the... More

everyone once in a while a baltimore magazine or the sun will rate seafood places and do a "best of" list. thames street oyster house always comes up as having the best lobster roll in town. i was finally able to try it out and i must agree. lobster is my favorite food, and while i'm more of a die-hard,... We found the Thames St Oyster Bar off TA recommendations and we were not disappointed. It was close to the hotel and not one of the chains around the Inner Harbor. The whole area is great with a lot of character. The food was amazing. We split Sea Bass Ceviche ($13) dozen oysters ($1.50-2.25 depending on variety) and a lobster... More

My husband & I went here because trip advisor gave it such good marks. I have to agree! I love fried oysters and they are actually hard to find but this place had them ! The restaurant has a bar downstairs and dining up on second floor. The restaurant is small so you really need reservations

Showed up with no reservations and we had to wait for 30 minutes. It was worth the wait! It was an excellent experience from the service to the food. The Rhode Island Quahog Chowder and Cast Iron Crab Cake were amazing. Topped off the meal with Banana Foster Crepe dessert. It was amazing too.

We lucked out by walking in just as Thames Street opened, so we got one of the two tables at the entrance. Little did we know how special a treat we were in for -- next time we'll be sure to reserve in advance. I usually save my 5 star ratings for fine dining experiences, but the food and service...
