Friendly neighborhood vibe

This is not a 5 star fancy dining establishment. But what they do, they do well...the food is delicious, the wait staff is enthusiastic and attentive, the price is affordable. Atmosphere is nicer than a pub, but that kind of feel. Appreciate that there was no music. We could hear each other talk... read more

Nice buzzing area full of restaurants and bars. Oyster House was full at 6pm but got a table (were told a cancellation). Oyster menu is extensive and the recommendations were great. Crab cake was large and good (though not the best I've ever had) and would have liked more condiments.

We went to dinner for a birthday celebration, what a great choice! My nephew started with some oysters, not actually my thing, but he did like them. The menu has quite a lot of choices for the non oyster lovers. My nephew had the swordfish with lobster grits. He almost licked the plate clean! I had the fish & chips,... More

Everything here is great! My favorite is always the lobster roll though- highly recommend! The people who work there are very nice and extremely helpful. If I could, I'd come here every night for dinner.

We had lunch at Thames after hearing very positive reviews. The food was excellent. The service was average at best.

My girlfriend and I needed to catch up and decided to walk around Fells Point and get some seafood for lunch. Somehow I found the name of Thames Street Oyster House and I am so glad I did. Both and atmosphere and the food were great. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful and figured out exactly what we were... More

I had lunch with a friend at this place and we enjoyed a very good meal. We both had different seafood options and both were pleased with our choices. The service was very good and overall a good dining experience.

The place is very popular so you will need a reservation. Noisy but tolerable. Try the chicken livers they were really good. Lots of great seafood. Just what we were looking for that night.

First of all, the only reason I'm giving this a rating of 5 is because I'm not able to give it a 6. I was really looking forward to going here and trying the Rhode Island quahog chowder. Mission accomplished, and that was worth the visit by itself. In addition though, I sampled from the large selection of raw oysters... More

Place was packed and I lucked into a spot at the bar. My Girlfriend and I enjoyed their raw bar immensly and their Giant oyster shooters and Manhattans. The bar was a highlight of our trip
