So nice!

Everything was great! Raw bar had many selections, the food was incredible, the service outstanding. Took the water taxi from inner harbour, it was a short walk from the landing along quaint historic Thames street. A truly wonderful evening.

Reservations were made for 8:45 pm we arrived on time and we're seated on time. Seated in the upstairs dining room or waitress was friendly and accommodating and professional. One of our party order the shrimp the other enjoyed the crab claws and I had to oysters and pickled herring. Additionally both ordered tomato and ricotta salad. The oysters were... More

I LOVE Thames Street. There is not an item on the menu I don't want to try. Their lobster roll is amazing (and I'm from Maine) as is their chopped salad with lobster. And that is a bargain at $14. Easily a meal. The oysters on the raw bar range in price from 1.50-3.00+ but the local oysters which are... More

Lovely setting, Ambiance is charming, service was incredible. We were driving from Boston to Maryland to drop my daughter off for college. We were last minute and told no guarantee for a table. Lucked out with a cancellation. Crab cakes were excellent, My husbands swordfish was tender and the sauce was to die for. My daughter got the seafood salad,... More

Thames was by far our best meal in Baltimore. They oyster selection was superb and the food was delicious. Great wait staff and delicious cocktails made for a perfect evening. Even the dessert was exceptional. By far our best meal in Baltimore. I can't wait to go back.

We were seated immediately although we had been told they had no availability. Loved the atmosphere but thought the food was not as good as some reviews had indicated. I had the Lobster roll, which as our wonderful waitress pointed out, was not like those in the Northeast. It was basically steamed lobster with drawn butter on a roll. I... More

Although the restaurant is on the noisy side, it is worth putting up with. Try to get an upstairs table in a corner. Good selection of menu items as well as some specials. We had oysters to start -- very good. The only item to skip is the chopped salad with lobster -- it was salty and a very small... More

Everything about this meal was off-the-charts. We had oysters, crab salad (so sweet and delicious), baked oysters, lobster roll (holy crap was this good), clam belly sandwich (again, outstanding), and beignets with blueberry float and buttermilk ice cream for dessert. I wish I could eat here once a week!

If in B'more this place should not be missed. And don't forget to book your table well in advance..Maybe a week or more ahead. They provide you a sheet with a list of local oysters available for THAT day and you choose what you want. The list gives the description of the Oyster. Had Battle Creek/Washburn Island/Gemme/Emerald Cove with Crab... More
