Description: The Crepe Du Jour was established in 1997 by husband and wife team...
The Crepe Du Jour was established in 1997 by husband and wife team Mustapha and Donna Snoussi. They had just relocated to Baltimore after living in Paris, France and began their first business by opening an upscale kiosk in the outside atrium of The Village of Cross Keys where they sold crepes, panini, salads and more. The business was a success and they had acquired the clientele needed which would later support them in the opening of their Mt. Washington restaurant in 2000. The restaurant has expanded with the opening of an all year round heated terrace. Crepe Du Jour has been part of the "Zagat" restaurant guide since 2003 where they describe dining on the terrace on a long summer evening as "almost feeling like Paris". The owner is often present to greet the guests and assure the quality of the food is at its best.

The crepes here are so delicious I always wish I had room for more but I never do! It's a comfy, cute little restaurant with pleasant wait staff and a nice variety of crepes to choose from. Both the savory and the sweet crepes are fantastic.

This family-owned and run restaurant is a little out of the way for tourists visiting the Inner Harbor area of Baltimore. If you have a car, and are willing to drive for 20 minutes, you'll have a very pleasant meal in a low-key and friendly atmosphere. There are many French classics (think coq-au-vin), and a decent wine list, but the... More

This is a great cozy restaurant with wonderful service and great menu. I had been wanting to go there and the reviews on TA were very accurate. The dinner crepes were tasty. we had the seafood special with crab, shrimp, asparagus and goat cheese. delicious! but the dessert crepes were worth saving room for... especially the one with bananas, strawberries... We enjoy dining at Crepe Du Jour. Their savory crepes are very good. We enjoy the florentine as well as several others, both vegetarian and not. The kids enjoy the chicken tenders as well as the crepe fromage. But our favorite part of the meal is the dessert! The dessert crepes are excellent. I particularly like the Crepe St. Germain... "I am in a mood for 'Crepe du Jour'" my friend told me and so we went. We have been for several times to this little restaurant with a nice French ambiance, now, and have enjoyed our crepes each and every time. The place is in a very nice little neighborhood. Nearby is Clayworks, a place where earthenware artworks and... More

For the past several years, Crepe du Jour with its friendly staff has become one of our all time favorites. It is small, cozy and you actually can carry on a conversation without shouting. The food is always delicious, there are reasonably priced nice wines and they make a fine espresso.Be sure to try the crepe with Nutella and banana... More

...it is the only reason that I don't go more often. Quiet, small and out of the way, this place hits the mark on many levels. The menu offers a wide selection for just about every taste. Although I would say crepes are their specialty, their non-crepe menu items are very good, in preparation and taste. On this visit we... More

One of our favorite local restaurants! Food is well-prepared with a nice selection of crepes and fish and meat specialties. We appreciate the relaxed and calm atmosphere and good service. Nice wine selections and reasonably priced.

The CDJ is a very small frenchish resto in the Mt Washington area. It was a very quiet evening when we wandered in. Menu is very french - the staff is not. Our meals were very nicely prepared, great tastes. As the name suggests, their specialty is crepes - two of our party tried different varieties. Nicely done. The fresh... More
