Good restaurant in Hampden

I visited this restaurant during restaurant week which also happens to occur during my birthday. It was bursting at the seems with patrons. We had a reservation, however I am certain with this crowd is the norm, We were quickly and efficiently seated and provided menus. Although the restaurant was crowded the service was not compromised and we did feel... More

We visited during Restaurant Week after several recommendations from friends. We wished we had come to Alchemy sooner. Our server, Peter was wonderful, friendly and very helpful with the menu. There is a very creative drink list, with several infusions and ingredients made in house. We both started with the roasted fig salad, which was artfully prepared and a perfect... More

I took my friend day and she was impressed. The menu is creative but the food is delicious. It's a bit pricey but worth every bit of it. Seating is modern with a modern atmosphere. Service is great. This is great girls night out or date night spot.

This overrated restaurant with little ambience, friendly servers and a chef that is addicted to sugar needs an intervention. Please reconsider eating here. The dishes "sound" good and too bad they can't be consumed through the ears, it might be better digested. We are three for ands and I assure you the consensus after paying the over 150.00 check was... More

We tried multiple dishes during brunch and they were all great. My favorite was the bacon biscuit sandwich. Bottomless mimosas for $10 as well.

My husband and I and her three-month-old baby visited Alchemy Restaurant for Mother's Day brunch today. My has been ordered the traditional breakfast and I ordered the Bistro French Toast. Our food was absolutely delicious. Especially my French toast. I also ordered Mock Mojito, it was fine. My husband got a glass of orange juice at cost four dollars, and... More

We arrived without a reservation with only 30 minutes to go before the end of the Sunday brunch service, but were seated quickly and without a hassle. The food -- I had the TBLT and my two lunch companions had the breakfast crepes -- was very good, as was the service. Hampden is a great neighborhood for wandering around, but... More

Met old friends, native Baltimoreans, for dinner at Alchemy. We were in town originally planning to stay 2 nights but the "delightful" Spring snow on March 19 meant we wouldn't be driving to Connecticut as planned. Super good food. Well seasoned, well cooked, professionally served. I shared the beet salad which if served to all those beet haters out there... More

Just arrived home from the most amazing dinner experience. Kyle, our server, as well as Debi & Michael Matassa, husband and wife proprietors know their talents. From the fun people watching in our cozy corner at the front the restaurant to the professionalism and excellent hospitality to the most spectacular dinner in town...we were really impressed. First heard of the... More
