We decided to try Kona Grill for a quick bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is very neo-soul and calm, yet there were a few football fans enjoying the Baltimore/Cleveland game (super exciting). The food was exciting to the taste buds. We ordered veggie flatbread pizza and turkey sandwiches (tasty). Last but not least the service is... More

This place looks beautiful, but they don't have operations down. I'll start with my pet peeves. There were two of us. We ordered two appetizers, one hot and one cold. The cold came out ten minutes before the hot one. That's rude. Then the entrees came out before the appetizers were finished being eaten. To me, this goes over the... More

The atmosphere is good. The meals we ordered were both very good. For 19.- Ahi tuna steak is worth the money. Miso sautee sea bass is very good too. The appetizer of chicken and shrimp letuss wrap is good amount for two. Overall is an enjoyable experience.

We walked in off the street for lunch and it was busy. We were seated on the patio and drink orders came quickly. The food took a bit longer. We didn't mind that much since we were having fun people watching as they came to and from the nearby convention center. Lunch was great - both food and service so... More

By consensus, Kona Grill was the best place in Baltimore that we ate at all weekend It wasn't until late Sunday that we showed up, they were closing a bit early, but we got there just in time to try some food. The best roll we ordered was the Checkerboard Roll - it's on their menu in the sushi section.... More

Went there for first time and really enjoyed the food. They offer late night happy hour menu. The food is great Calamari, flatbreads etc, everything was good. Margaritas are awesome, they offer frozen ones as well and in different flavours. The only thing we didn't like was the service, it took ages for everything. 20-25 min for a drink and... More

I was looking for a decent restaurant to take my daughter and her roommates. I wanted good food, decent atmosphere and not overly expensive. The Kona Grill fit that need. Food was tasty, the sauces and spices used were unique and added a great touch to many of the meals at the table. Out of the 5 different meals served,... More

Went here on a Wednesday evening around 6 pm and they had some great happy hour specials including half-price appetizers and discounted sushi. It's located in the Inner Harbor area and they have indoor and outdoor seating. The place is very clean and all the food is reasonably priced. I had an oriental salad that was delicious, as were the... More

We were headed to the Baltimore Convention Center (which normally has pretty mediocre to bad food at its events) when we found the Kona Grill, virtually across the street. Nice, roomy, airy space with friendly reception staff and knowledgable wait staff. The menu for lunch had a lot of traditional salads and sandwiches, but the there was interesting variation as... Everyone at my office aways rants about Kona Grill. So I headed over there for lunch to give it a try. I must say I was highly satisfied with the service. I was practically in and out the place and everyone was so enthusiastic. However, I feel that some of the food is over priced.
