Too noisy

Kona grill feels like the chain that it is - that slightly impersonal feeling that you could be in anyone of their 30 plus locations. The food was average to good, desserts appeared ordinary, service was fine. My main complaint was the incredible noise level from the other patrons, the bar and... read more

We were in Baltimore ' s Inner Harbor for 4th of July weekend and ended up here during happy hour and had a fantastic time....we got there before it got crowded as I have seen this place many times but never stopped in.. the pepperoni flat bread was awesome and we sat on the patio. I would suggest if you... More

Visited there as a couple for a weekday lunch. The interior was nice and modern (beautiful fish tank displays) and despite the busy lunch hour by a crowd of business groups, we were able to be seated right away without reservations. We ordered a miso soup, potstickers, and crispy tuna tartar from the appetizer menu...and 2 sushi rolls for lunch.... More

I am now officially a regular at the Kona Grill. A group of professional women meet once a quarter and we ALWAYS eat at the Kona Grill. I can make the reservation for up to 20 women without a lot of notice, muss or fuss. They are flexible on the exact number -- right up to and even after we... More

I took a client out to dinner tonight and ended up being embarrassed about my venue suggestion. Service was awful. I had to remind the server twice that I had ordered another beer, and he brought out my miso soup (which was mediocre at best) AFTER my entree was served. Just no excuse for that. I ordered the seared ahi... More

Wanted to dine here because of the varied menu. Unfortunately, after trying the restaurant via email and phone, and receiving no response, we proceeded to Book anyway. We have one severe peanut allergy in our party, and a secondary other nuts allergy. When we were seated, at least 80 % of the menu was off limits because they choose to... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. Details like these are the best training tool we have in teaching new managers and staff the right way to show hospitality. I took your notes very seriously and called a special meeting of all of our chefs and mangers. I made it clear that when someone with... More

The food was fresh and the service was awesome! Great drinks, great location, and reasonably priced! Most places downtown get really pricey for the amount that you get. But we were having a nice night out and it was well worth the trip. We will definitely be back!

Needing a late lunch away from the Convention Center I was swept up into the hospitality of this eatery. Upbeat music on a good sound system lifted my spirits and I melted into the Asian salad, macadamia nut chicken with fresh green beans.

Hostess was awesome and got us the table we wanted without any questions. Server was awesome and super courteous, made great suggestions even tho we came really close to closing time. Our food was delicious and the drinks weren't too bad. We had the teriyaki steaks, pot stickers and calamari.

I haven't tasted a bad dish here yet, but nothing compares to the Sea Bass! It's simply amazing. Love this restaurant, and I look forward to every chance I get to come back.
