Loved the boat building

First of I got the groupon 40 for 80$! And I did my research on the restaurant. We're are from Philly and came to BMore for a little getaway. I finally found the retaurant -in a shape of a boat. Nice touch! Private parking evening nicer. The place is not that big. The tables and seat is a right... read more

A quick dinner last month that turned out not to be not that quick. The food the place offers is very nice and there is plenty of it. However the wait is on a long side of it... We were there for a relatively quick dinner that turned into a long stay. To be fair we first were waiting for... More

Okay, I wanted to try the famous crab cakes from Maryland! I found Captain James on a map from the water taxi service. I am so glad that I went and even happier that I took Greg the bartendar's recommendation! He recommended the crab cakes and the steamed oysters! They both were really good!! And he was right, they were... More

Took a trip across our home town to enjoy an excellent meal with my husband during our Spring Break "Staycation". We visited during midday with no wait and no crowd. We enjoyed every portion of our meal which included a giant crab cake and an ample portion of king crab legs. The atmosphere was set off by the ship decor... More

I am a HUGE crab cake fan and also crab legs....they were great here. The crab cakes were big and delicious. Joyce was our server and she was very nice and a great server. The older gentleman that greeted us at the host/hostess counter was very nice as well. We didn't have a reservation and he was sure to make... More

Just the right amount of a fun, rustic nautical theme, free parking and right on Baltimore's beautiful promenade with views of the harbor. Discreetly placed TVs were showing sports so fans can get a sneak peak at the game without being the focal point in the dining room. We had delicious fresh oysters on the half shell, yummy mushrooms stuffed... More

Excellent seafood prepared to perfection. They easily accommodated our party of 14 and service was immediate and attentive. Our group ordered just about everything on the menu from soups and salads, to steamed shrimp & mussels, crab cakes and seafood pasta, to the birthday girl ordering the double lobster stuffed w/ crab platter which everyone wanted to taste. Everything was... More

Have been to Captain James Landing several times over the years. The food is always good and who can't resist eating someplace where it's shaped like a ship. My wife had purchased a Groupon as a gift for me because I like steak and crab cakes. So last night we decided to use it. First off they were busy because... More

This is a great casual, seafood restaurant which stays open late. Enjoyed restaurant week special - but there are plenty of specials and you should definitely check Groupons. The crab cakes and mussels were great. Portion was large so make sure you are hungry and enjoy ready to enjoy great Maryland seafood.

This was our second time visiting, and our second visit that was fantastic. Greg, our server, took care of us for both visits, and as we expected from the first visit, he was perfectly attentive, very friendly, and made us feel incredibly welcome. From now on I'll be requesting his section when we visit. Our food was great! We got... More
