We came here after picking up a Groupon, and it was an excellent choice. We had to go with a late reservation (9:45pm) because they were filled up, and when we arrived there were probably 15 people waiting. Our server, Greg, was very helpful, attentive, quick, and made pleasant conversation when he checked up on us. We got a dozen... More

I attended the restaurant with my family on a Tuesday evening when the special was 1 1/2 lb Lobster dinner with 2 sides for $14.99. My reservation was for 7 PM which was a reasonable hour for dinner. We had to wait 10 minutes to be seated and as soon as we sat down, the server served the lady to... More

A large group from our yacht club had breakfast at Captain James. The food choices were great and lots of seafood choices. The prices were extremely reasonable. My husband had Pancake Tacos which he thoroughly enjoyed. Also need to mention the Great Bloody Marys!!! Will definitely visit again.

This was my first experience at a crab house and I couldn't be more pleased. I sat outside at the crab shack across the street from the restaurant and enjoyed the amazing view, all you can eat crab special and a few Heavy Seas Pale Ale (highly recommend and very reasonably priced during happy hour). The service was great. My... More

I came here with a handful of friends at the end of a conference to relax and have a sample of the local cuisine. The atmosphere is very relaxed and laid back. We bellied up to a table covered with heavy brown paper. After a few minutes discussing the beer choices (not a lot of choices, but something for almost... More

We went to this restaurant in a large group and most had the crabs, which apparently were ok. I don't eat seafood and the menu had quite a few selections of non-seafood items of which I selected the grilled chicken sandwich. Seemed like a safe bet - how can you screw up grilled chicken? After biting into the sandwich, I'm... More

What says Maryland and Baltimore then steamed blue crabs and cold beer! Our place to stop and get our Maryland fix! This place treats you right and feeds you a delicious feast! You can't go wrong here. Reasonably priced and impeccable, friendly service.

I'm comparing this vs LP steamers which I had crabs from last time I was in Baltimore. I felt like the crabs at LP steamers were better. The calamari was pretty good and so was the sweet potato fries, but I wasn't too impressed with the shrimp. Everything felt like more expensive, but maybe that's just because I ordered larger... Had a chance to visit this restaurant with a groupon. Service was good. Food was average at best. I had the imperial crab,I had much better. It had jumbo crab meat in it but it lacked favor. It came with mixed vegetable and roasted red potatoes. Husband had the ribs and crab legs. I don't understand why one would go... More
