Based on the past reviews, my wife wanted to try this restaurant which is part of an old hotel. There is a very busy downstairs bar with pizza oven, and the main restaurant is upstairs. Upon arrival, the décor was disappointing - basic at best. The noise from the active bar downstairs carried up the stairs into the restaurant, and... More

freeman, Thank you for feedback, my apologies on your disappointment with our dessert. We have actually just hired a new pastry chef who is here to revamp our menu. I do hope you return as it seems like you enjoyed the food and service. Our Chef uses only top quality ingredients so sometimes our prices are a little higher than... More

Server Caroline was nice and helpful. Food was very good. Atmosphere was pleasant but for the water that began to pour out of one of the light fixtures in the ceiling near our table - assuming a broken pipe but it did not affect the quality of the food.

Jessi P, Thank you for dining with us and my apologies on the water leak, we are housed in a 100+ year old building so unfortunately things like that happen. I am happy to hear that that you still enjoyed everything. Caroline says thank you! More

Food was great but the libations were excellent. A fun evening trying out different cocktails with food pairings. Make sure you have the calamari

We ate at the bar. The bar tender was by far the friendliest person I have met on the east coast. I had what would be consider a simple pizza but it was incredibly tasty.

My husband and I are staying at the Hotel Monaco and had dinner tonight at this restaurant. Everything was top notch. Our waitress was very pleasant, knowledgable of the menu and had just the right level of attentiveness. The beet salad was the best I have ever eaten - the dressing superb. I had Murray's Farm Chicken and my husband... More

Stopped in for lunch while waiting for our room at the Hotel Monaco. Staff was so friendly and nice? Offered us complimentary champagne to jump start our anniversary celebration! Tomato bisque was delicious, as was the veggie Sammie. So glad we decided to stop in, and would love to come back to try the mussels!

The ambiance was refined yet unpretentious. The bar area downstairs had a welcoming, neighborhood feel to it, The upstairs loft area was quiet and comfortable. The food was fabulous. Best of all, the chef was a sweetheart and took the time -- probably at the suggestion of our attentive waiter who learned our son was in a culinary arts class... More

Pricing is reasonable for what you get. Not a cheap restaurant but amazing food. We went on a very busy Friday night without reservations and got in. Unique, organic, fresh and amazing. Got the "pickled things" in their own miniature mason jar, heirloom grits and both were amazing! Warm olives also great. I wish I'd discovered this place earlier in... More
