Description: When you inherit a space as magical as the historic former Baltimore...
When you inherit a space as magical as the historic former Baltimore & Ohio Railroad headquarters, you've got to do it justice. We kept our building's most stunning architectural features intact while updating the space with contemporary design elements and nostalgic touches, like chairs and table lamps from original B&O dining cars. Our practices are distinctly 21st century, though, from selecting the best local produce at the farmer's market to serving cutting-edge craft cocktails to maintaining a steadfast commitment to sustainable business practices. If only train passengers from the early 1900s had it so good!

Great for drinks

We went here just for some drinks and the atmosphere is really chilled out and great. The barman was so helpful and knowledgeable, but let us alone to chat on our own - the perfect mix. It's pretty expensive for food, so I'd recommend just drinks.

We stayed at Hotel Monaco and for dinner, and had originally planned on going out, but the B&O Brasserie was exactly the casual yet upscale dining we were looking for. I ordered the braised pork shoulder and my boyfriend had the crab cakes and they were both incredible. We ordered the appetizer special that night, clams and mussels, and they... More

Enjoyed the Wings, The Cubano and the Grilled Cheese is interesting - not your typical grilled cheese. Service was marginal as the refill on the tea did not include more ice - so it was warm. The waiter also did not know what the "chef's taste" was - as this was mentioned on the Hotel Monaco Website once you login... More

We decided to grab breakfast at the B&O before checking out of the adjoining Hotel Monaco. The breakfast sandwiches were about the caliber of diner fare. We arrived around 8:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning. We were the ONLY patrons in the whole restaurant, yet the hostess sat us at a booth next to the noisy server station and kitchen!... More

Thank you for dining with us during your recent stay. My apologies on where you were seated, we would have gladly moved you to a different table. I will have a conversation with our hostess regarding your dining experience. Our breakfast sandwich comes out exactly how it says on our menu: bacon, eggs, cheese on an english muffin, we provide... So here's the deal -- we had a $100 gift certificate to B&O. We've heard good things but the whole hotel bar/restaurant kept us away. Well, tonight we finally went. The food was good -- probably better than expected. We ordered 2 of the 'Share' items (Octo Taco & Raviolo), the wood fired brussels and the Braised Pork Shoulder main.... More

Small menu, but big on flavor. Loft level dining is much more quiet than seating in the bar area. Highly suggest reservations. Happy hour noise can be distracting. Nice selection of unique cocktails and craft beers.

Was in town for work and stayed next door, decided to try the restaurant while walking by. The food was good, not great and the server was fine. Maybe a personal preference, but I do not like long hair in persons face when serving my food. It made me wonder how much hair I would in my food. It needed... More

I truly enjoyed this place. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. Our server was very personable and recommended some great dishes. Although the lunch menu appears limited, what is on it pops with flavor.

I'll make this easy...best pancakes I've ever had. Eggs Benedict were seasoned with tarragon and were delicious, too! It was noisier than I would have liked, with a big group near us. This is somewhat to be expected, since it's attached to the Monaco, but be aware :) I would definitely return.
