Description: When you inherit a space as magical as the historic former Baltimore...
When you inherit a space as magical as the historic former Baltimore & Ohio Railroad headquarters, you've got to do it justice. We kept our building's most stunning architectural features intact while updating the space with contemporary design elements and nostalgic touches, like chairs and table lamps from original B&O dining cars. Our practices are distinctly 21st century, though, from selecting the best local produce at the farmer's market to serving cutting-edge craft cocktails to maintaining a steadfast commitment to sustainable business practices. If only train passengers from the early 1900s had it so good!

Good food

Limited Menu and weird times middle of day closing, but overall a good place to eat big bar selection, and good food

I cannot express enough how much I enjoyed my time here :) the food is sooo delicious and the happy hour was great! Brenden from the bar was so sweet and friendly! Marissa, the hostess went above and beyond to make our time there more enjoyable and Maria was seriously a rockstar. She recommended places and gave a great overview... More

My friend and I stayed at the hotel and had lunch and happy hour at B&O. Both encounters were amazing. The food was incredible and their drinks are delicious! What we really enjoyed was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly. Brendan at the bar always checked on us, the host Marissa was super sweet and bubbly chatting with us and... More

Visited the hotel in the building to see the architecture and located this restaurant. I love the atmosphere. Somewhat dark but cozy. Seated quickly and the wait staff was very good. She recommended the crab cake sandwich. Good job. Not a lot of filler and very tasty. My friend had the special which was tuna salad on croissant. Looked good.... More

We were going to a concert at the Royal Farms Arena and this was the perfect location. The food was interesting and delicious. Calamari (not your typical fried) and a wonderful cheese tray were our appetizers with great wine. For entrees we had the lamb, steak, and scallops. All were praised highly by the diner and dessert was caramel popcorn... More

Loved the décor here. I sat in the bar area for Happy Hour cocktail and bar food. Service was great, staff were friendly and prices reasonable

Had two meals, dinner and breakfast. Open/ airey eatery, most tables up one flight. Dinner dishes were above average, service both meals quite attentive. Some interesting menu choices. Nice beer and wine selection available. Breakfast was at usual overpriced rates and strangle only one slice of toast with omlete. Service attentib=ve then too.

We stayed at Hotel Monaco and for dinner, and had originally planned on going out, but the B&O Brasserie was exactly the casual yet upscale dining we were looking for. I ordered the braised pork shoulder and my boyfriend had the crab cakes and they were both incredible. We ordered the appetizer special that night, clams and mussels, and they... More

Enjoyed the Wings, The Cubano and the Grilled Cheese is interesting - not your typical grilled cheese. Service was marginal as the refill on the tea did not include more ice - so it was warm. The waiter also did not know what the "chef's taste" was - as this was mentioned on the Hotel Monaco Website once you login... More

We decided to grab breakfast at the B&O before checking out of the adjoining Hotel Monaco. The breakfast sandwiches were about the caliber of diner fare. We arrived around 8:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning. We were the ONLY patrons in the whole restaurant, yet the hostess sat us at a booth next to the noisy server station and kitchen!... More

Thank you for dining with us during your recent stay. My apologies on where you were seated, we would have gladly moved you to a different table. I will have a conversation with our hostess regarding your dining experience. Our breakfast sandwich comes out exactly how it says on our menu: bacon, eggs, cheese on an english muffin, we provide...
