Went here with some friends, and had a great time. We tried a little bit of everything amongst our group (ceviche, cooked fish, steak, etc.), and were not disappointed by the quality or execution of any of the food. Our only complaint was that for the prices they are charging, which are relatively high, you don't get very much food... More

This was a pleasant surprise, used a zootravel voucher and was not expecting fabulous, but food and service was excellent. Reservations needed because it’s a very small place, so use opentable to reserve, but well worth the wait if you decide to wait for a table. Great appetizers including excellent sushi (Fire and Ice Seviche was very tasty), very creative... More

I discovered Seviche in Pittsburgh a few years ago and recently had a chance to visit the lovely restaurant the week before visiting Baltimore. When I found out that Talara was a sister restaurant, I knew I would be paying the place a visit when I made it to Baltimore. It did not disappoint. I daydream about fire and ice... More

Absolutely loved the entire meal - especially the appetizers (hummus and guac with chips and plaintains and sweet potatoes and seared steak with wonderful sauce). The CRABCAKE CHILE RELLENO, carne asada, and vegetarian casserole entrees were all winners. Loved the special cocktails, esp. CAIPIRINHA, a Brazilian cocktail. Dulce de leche cake was memorable. Service very good and friendly. We'll be... More

I saw a TravelZoo deal for Talara, so I thought i'd try it. Great choice! Service was good, atmosphere friendly with good tunes playing, and the food was fantastic. First, I love a place with artfully made professional cocktails. The Gin & Cucumber Mojito and Blood Orange Margarita were really good. We split up some small plates - The Mussels... More

Me and the girlfriend took a travelzoo voucher for this restaurant as it was labled one of the best bangs for the buck, and it was!!!!! We started with 2 of their signature cocktails recommended by the waiter, which didn't disappoint, then had choice of 2 tapas or appetizers or salad, we chose the tapas, by the way also was... More

Talara is a very special place in the middle of Harbor East! They have a wonderful happy hour with drinks and $5 tapas. Try the Blackened Chicken Tostadas, and you will be in heaven! The staff is also very friendly and welcoming. This place is ready to move higher on the TripAdvisor hit parade!

A surprisingly, great restaurant attached to the Homewood Suites hotel. The Tapas was delicious, I wish we had ordered more. The prices were a little high, but it's seafood. I will definitely be back to try more on the menu.
