Delicious foods, but small portions.

We came here for restaurant week recently. We were a party of 6. We were seated quickly and had a very patient and thorough waiter. We all decided to choose from the restaurant week menu. The portions were smaller than expected, and definitely left us wanting more. I ordered the fried green... read more

The place is very nice and tastefully decorated but the selection of wines as well fine drinks is very poor. To try is the hamburger at happy hours. Too bad for the drinks...

This used to be my go to restaurant when visiting Baltimore. That ended after my last visit. Maybe the waitress was new, maybe just clueless, but that does not excuse the terrible service we received during our last dining experience. From main courses delivered 5 minutes after appetizers were brought to the table to the item that was never delivered... More

One of the best bartenders ever. The type that remembers what your drink is after one visit and will have it for you before you say anything. Just give him a nod and he knows what's up.

Started with happy hour and the Mojito was made with sprite and no mint. Ordered a dirty martini next and it's pre-made. This was all from one bartender. The second bartender we had mixed his drinks personally and they weren't bad. Next time, I'd probably just do wine. Hate a bad bar experience and I expected better from such a... More

We were looking for a local restaurant in the Canton area of Baltimore and the Blue HIll Tavern was recommended. We had a wonderful experience dining there. Our waiter; Dan was probably one of the best waiters we have ever had. He recommended various menu items and wine selections and he was spot on! The restaurant has a nice vibe... More

What's not to like? I started off with the mussels of the day, this time served Mediterranean style, with chopped tomatoes, olives and feta cheese in a white wine butter sauce. Delicious. My wife also had an appetizer special, the smoked salmon deviled eggs. She declared them a hit. After sharing one of their chopped salads (just ask them to... More

First, went on Father's Day. Very few wait staff. Seated immediately, great curbside valet. We were given menus, then waited 5 min. Drink order taken, waited another 5-7 min for 2 beers & bottle of wine. Ordered when drinks came (were ready to order before).Starters took @ 40 min - that's right, 40 min, to get to table. They didn't... More

This was my first visit to Blue Hill Tavern (BHT) and it won't be my last. The atmosphere is relaxing. Rich dark wood floors, a lovely bar to the right upon entering and the dining room on the first floor is quite wonderful. My husband and I were greeted quickly by Shannon who gave us the specials for the evening.... More

My family and I celebrated our daughter's birthday at Blue Hill Tavern last week. It's located in the neighborhood I grew up in, now known as Brewers Hill. What a surprise! The building is modern, tastefully decorated, yet comfortable. The bar had quite a crowd for a Wednesday evening. The service was good, but the star of the show at... More
