Good food poor service

6 of us had dinner tonight and the waiter was immediately rude to us. He came just as the hostess gave us our menus. He told us he would bring water for everyone but and insisted on getting our drink even after we told him we need to a minute to look at the drink menu. So we so we... read more

Went to Diamond Tavern during a very busy night in Baltimore with a major concert and a convention both nearby. Ate from the Restaurant Week menu which was reasonably priced, full size and quite tasty. The staff did an excellent job with the restaurant traffic, so we had only a short wait for a table and for a waiter once... More

The staff is very attentive to your needs. The food is very good and the breakfast buffet is outstanding. I have never had bad food service at this restaurant. Definitely top notch. Well Done Diamond. P.S. the bread pudding is really good too.

I had a free Breakfast buffet -- nice selections, but loved the French toast. Want another piece now.

I had breakfast at the Diamond Tavern during my recent stay in Baltimore. I entered the restuarant and was seated immedately. The busperson came to my table and placed my drink order. I looked through the menu and ordered the pineapple upside down pancakes, which were as good as it sounds. The server was very friendly and prompt. They do... More

dined at the bar and the service was extraordinary, Tanya the bartender was wonderful. I did not eat a full entree but their crab cake sandwich and their tortilla soup blew me away! looking for a place that has great food, atmosphere and service, I found it!

Last minute decision to stay downtown for the weekend, and it was easier to do breakfast downstairs at the Tavern than look elsewhere. Wonderful staff from greeting, to sous chef at omelet bar, to the Assistant Manager (Andrew Hopson). We arrived the first morning after the bkfst session; however, our server prompted us to catch the last minute omelet station.... More

I went here on a whim and enjoyed it. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. The nicest I have encountered in some time. The beer lines were clean so the beer tasted as it should. The place was clean. I sat at the bar and had a pepperoni pizza and fries. The pizza was better than want you would... More

Inexcusably bad service. We went to get a bite to eat and have a drink before we went to the Oriole game (across the street). I can not even begin to explain how HORRIBLE the service was. When food did come, it was cold. My friend ordered a cosmo. After 20 minutes of waiting, our waitress came back, without the... More

This restaurant is not actually in the Hilton Hotel. It's across the street in the convention center. Rather a spartan interior. Service OK, food the same. But maybe a bit less hectic than some of the nearby bar/cafes if you're going to a game.
