We stayed at the Hilton and ate lunch at the Diamond Tavern because it was convenient. The waitstaff was excellent; our waiter, Donelle was friendly and accommodating, answering all our questions. My wife had crab cake salad and I had jumbalaya, which were very good. They lost a star because of the price. Lunch was good but a bit overpriced.... More

Not anything amazing, but the buffet has a lot of options. Your own personal chef making waffles and omelets, fresh fruit, eggs, potatoes, meats, pastries, etc. Biscuits and gravy were the only disappointment. Everything else was fine, and the service was very good.

I had breaklfast at the Diamond Tavern this morning, and will not return. The breakfast buffet is very small, in terms of the number of items offered, but the PRICE is stiff. My breakfast buffet was over $20, not counting the beverage. The worst part about the ordeal was the service, which was all but non-existent. My "server" walked past... More

Great place for lunch before the game. Three friends and I ate lunch there before an O's game as the ballpark was across the street. Appetizers and entree's were good but fell short of being spectacular. Each meal was well prepared , well presented and very tasty but the menu is a basic and a little bland. Wait staff was... More

More congenial staff then the Hilton restaurants. Passable, unmemorable food, risotto heated in a microwave.

Service was fantastic, the food took a while to come out, but the service staff couldn't have been more apologetic and making sure we were okay. Food was worth the wait. Very good indeed!

The service here was slow and our server seemed disinterested. Food (salmon) was dry and had cooled off by the time it was served. Would not recommend.

I only had breakfast which was very good and not too pricey. The service was very good. A good meal especially if you need to stay in the hotel. Be aware--if there is a conference staying at the hotel it may be difficult to get a table.

On first morning at Baltimore Hilton we decided to have breakfast in their restaurant, the Diamond Tavern. We were seated immediately and after a few minutes our order was taken then we waited and waited for our food. The waitress came to our table and brought us the bill saying we could pay now to save time after we ate.... More

Horribly understaffed, and very slow. Had a reservation, and when it was 30 minutes past time the host just shrugged, said their were several still in front of us and walked away. The restaurant was 2/3 empty, so it was clear they were just understaffed. We finally just left, walked across the street to another restaurant and were seated immediately.
