We've tried places that sells gelato and nothing comes close to Pitango. My youngest daughter can differentiate ice cream from gelato! And she definitely loves this place. Worth driving to Fells Point !

Pitango has over a dozen hand mixed gelatos. From flavors like Cardomom to tea to spiced chocolate, its a oodies dream. The milk they use for the ice cream is from a local farmer and is hormone free. The portions are generously sized and the staff are friendly. This is a definite must visit (unless you have lactose intolerance)!

It's a cozy little shop in Fells Point. They have friendly staff and lots of great flavors! We tried the pistachio, chocolate and baccio flavors. Will definitely be going back!

The prices are pretty absurd for a college student, but it is quite delicious. I greatly enjoyed a nice gelato and a walk around Fell's point on a warm day. All I gotta say is, before you order, be sure to get your fair share of free samples to get your money's worth.
