Great place to drink

We popped into this establishment after a long day sightseeing in Washington then travelling to Baltimore. Joey, the barman, made us most welcome and produced some great cocktails, although I'm not sure what was in them. The food was good simple pub grub and very tasty. We returned late evening for our second visit and were welcomed like old friends.... More

The food here was excellent. The beer was outstanding and the service was top of the line. I highly recommend while visiting Baltimore that you go at least once!!

I stayed a short distance away - went here for most of my evening meals. Good selection of food and beers. Friendly staff with great advice

I used to love this place in the 90's, but our latest visit makes me think I'll never be back. No Irish music on a Friday night? Non-existent waiter after the first drink order? Compared to its heyday this place is tired and it shows.

Stopped in here for dinner. Place was a traditional Irish Bar. Waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the beers served. Food was excellent. Prices are very reasonable. I would eat here again.

Irish on tap! Mike O'Shea's is a fine Irish pub. in a convenient location near Mt Vernon and the nearby Museum attractions. Five of our family visited here on a Sunday. We managed a parking spot near the front door. Only possible on weekends. Parking garages are nearby for weekdays. Everyone ate and drank something different. No one was dissatisfied.... More

We ate here after going to mass at the Basilica and touring it. It was quite busy but we were able to get a seat at the bar by the front and order our food. I had the basic american breakfast scrambled eggs bacon and french toast. Everything was done well. My husband had the biscuits and gravy which he... More

Our group had 14 people and we were quickly seated. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. We all ordered different things and everything was delicious. Southwestern Chicken, Fish & Chips, Grilled Cheese and Reubens were all very good and portions were huge. Prices were very good for dinner menu in Baltimore.

And that's all I know as I was dining solo. It definitely seems-bar-ish, but there's a sit-down restaurant area in the back - it wasn't open yet when I was there. The place has a neighborhood, but not a dive-y feel. It was definitely welcoming to out of towners like me. Side note - I was the only female in... More
