(1) Our server was wonderful and, despite the fact he was busy with about 15 other people, he came back to us time and again. (2) The salsa was amazing; not too spicy, with enough garlic to make it tasty! It comes to you in a cute little bottle and two bowls....so you don't have to share with your partner... More

The server was very helpful in describing dishes I wasn't familiar with and I ended up going with his favorite, the restaurant specialty molcajetes. This consisted of a large quantity of shrimp, chorizo, steak, chicken, and vegetables topped with cheese in a lava bowl. This was served with a generous quantity of tortillas (usually you get 2-3, this was 5),... More

Not too many places to eat in Larned. Definitely best bet is El Dos De Oros. Don't be put off by the modest exterior, do stop in. Busy place enjoyed by the locals. Very good Mexican food and good (but not great) service. If time, be sure to take in Fort Larned, "Guardian of the Santa Fe Trail" about 6... More

Options are limited for vegetarians in this town; so this provided multiple vegetarian choices. Portions are large, staff friendly, Plus they serve margaritas!

This is a local favorite. Great food, nice workers, friendly place. Be sure to read the menu cover to cover, as it is full of choices. Some you might be surprised to see at a Mexican eatery. Don't see what you want, ask, they are open to ideas or special needs.

I eat here often. Prices are very fair, plates are full. As a trucker with 28 years on the road, I've had the good, bad and ugly. This place is one of the good ones. Yes, they have an off day from time to time, who doesn't. But I've never had a bad meal here. Large menu, be sure and... More

Since I come from Tucson, I know Mexican food and the food was very good, but not quite the style that I prefer. The chile rellenos were outstanding. Light and fluffy.

Not sure how other patrons rated this so highly. I had a beef enchilada and a taco, both were so salty I only ate half. As for the atmosphere definitely run down, staff is adequate and not forthcoming with information as to house specialities. Have to pass this next time I am in the area as a Subway sandwich would... Probably has been the most consistant mexican restuarant we frequent. Always fast and they have kept up with our chips and water. Same bunch from the same location in mexico so food is similiar

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the hotel manager and were very pleased. The greeter and server were very friendly. The decor was unique. Our food was exceptionally good, the most authentic mexican food we had on our trip to the southwest. All four of us truly enjoyed it.
