We loved this restaurant. It's charming with the old fashioned booths and counter stools along with milkshake machines. The building has been there for more than 100 years. I had a hamburger and fries which were tasty. My wife had a cup of hot chocolate and a grilled chicken sandwich. They have Blue Bell ice cream and can make you... More

This place is awesome! You have to try the pecan pie, we were in after a funeral service in Fort Davis, the food was great!

We stayed next door at Harvard Hotel and ate breakfast here. It took them 40+ minutes to bring a simple order out. Unacceptable. The food itself was OK. Nothing special but not bad either. Prices were good though - not as expensive as Terlingua and the decor was cute and nice. The place is nice in most ways except that... More

Enjoyed our traditional breakfast at the Drug Store. The ambiance is fun, fun, fun. The service staff are friendly and personable. Every bite of food was exceptional. I like my coffee a little stronger but that is a minor personal preference. Definitely recommend and will be back on our next trip west.

My family and I came here after visiting the Fort and before going to the Star Party at the Observatory. The food and service here were excellent! We got the chipotle burgers, and they were delicious. The salad dressing was also really good. The restaurant doubles as an art gallery and hotel, and has lots of memorabilia from when it... More

From the write ups I saw, I thought this was going to be something special. The decor is cute but the food is pretty standard diner fare.

I ate here twice during my stay in Fort Davis, once for breakfast and once for lunch. There is a reason they are known for their breakfasts - the pancakes and homemade maple syrup are phenomenal, and the bacon and eggs were great, too. Lunch wasn't quite at the same level as breakfast but was still pretty good: I had... More

This store has great homemade fudge, it's ideal for a family sit-down meal, and it can handle medium-sized groups. The ambience is wonderful. The store has a nice selection of food, art, souvenir, and clothing and accessory items. Ambience is very nice country soda shop-ish.

I liked the chicken fry steak, but my husband didn't. It was very crowded & noisy. Went at a different time of day & was not so crowded and had an old fashioned Dr. Pepper that was very good. Ice cream also a favorite.
