Brunch Fabulousness

We stopped for a late breakfast on our way through town. The atmosphere and decor are one part hippy, one part hipster, one part artist.... but a hippy/hipster/artist who can Cook. I had their daily special scramble. They willingly substituted gluten free bread for the biscuit. The salsa that... read more

we went for lunch. The food was good. Let's put it this way...if you are young, like it loud so you can't hear conversations, and cramped...then this is the place to go. However, if you are looking for a place to enjoy a good meal and have great conversation then try the next place on the list.

OMG, I could go on and on about this place. It is a small intimate restaurant that serves every meal from breakfast to dinner and if I lived in Astoria, I would eat there all the time. I mean ALL the time. Sigh, I swoon just thinking about this place. But I live an hour south so have only eaten... More

Pleasant ambience, service was friendly but a bit slow, food was delicious. Half salad was huge! Pad Thai with chicken delicious. Will return.

Friends recommended Astoria Coffeehouse & Bistro for dinner. So, we visited there tonight. I must say that dining here was a pleasure, good service and very good food. We first tried the marinated bacon Brussels Sprouts with salad greens, which were very tasty. I had the pork chop with a salsa, scalloped sweet potatoes, and green vegetables, done to perfection.... Ok so I hang at the Coast most weekends and used to by this place all the time. Rarely needed it since buying the Keurig Coffee maker. (Love that thing) However we got word that they were serving excellent lunches and dinners at fair prices. So we went and it was good. We went again and it was even better.... More

On a recent winter week, we dropped into the coffeehouse after finding several of our other favorites closed for a winter break. The dinner menu was astounding in its variety. All types of meat, vegetable and fish dishes with different ethnicity emphasis. I must admit, we were a bit skeptical of the ambitiousness of the choices. However, we were pleasantly... More

This small and quaint boutique coffeehouse is definitely a great experience; from its atmosphere, to its bar, and its great food. We enjoyed a great brunch menu along with great morning cocktails and coffee. Unfortunately, the length of time waiting for a seat and subsequently waiting for our order are this restaurant's biggest downfall. Since it is so small, it... More

Visit whenever I'm in town for great food, service and of course very good lemon drops. Had a great experience watching the bartender make our drinks while having friendly conversations.

Cold, grey and windy in Astoria (surprised?) and we needed a perfect place for coffee and late lunch. We found the Astoria Bistro, and it was just what we needed! Table by the window, delightful service and menu suggestions from Chelsea, and an amazing special: grilled salmon on focaccia, with olive tapenade, aioli, pepper bacon, and Swiss, warm and served...
