Excellent food

My son and I stopped by while on a little road trip. He had fish tacos which he loved and I had the portabello caprese sandwich which was also fantastic. Ambiance is okay. A little overpriced. Large portions could be downsized a bit to help the cost. Overall, loved it.

This place is classic new Astoria. Great for small parties (6 or less) or singles. Terrific bakery and full bar and some of the very best food on the North Coast. In the right weather (which global warning is making more common in this part of the world) you can eat outside on the tables that look out on the... More

We stopped by and had a slice of carrot cake and a serving of the mousse. Both were delicious. The carrot cake was perfect, not too much in the way of nuts and raisins. It was fun talking to their employee behind the coffee/dessert counter. We talked about how the downtown area is undergoing a slow but steady revival. The... More

We decided to check out the northern Oregon Coast and headed south from Olympia, WA on a Thursday in March, and stopped in quaint Astoria, OR to get out and stretch our legs. We saw the Astoria Coffeehouse and decided to pop in for some coffee and an afternoon snack. So glad we did! The coffee was delicious and the... More

We had the grilled cheese sandwich and homemade tomato soup. Unbelievably good. Robust in flavor. Perfect for dipping our sandwiches. The vanilla-lavender latte an absolute must!

They get "average" because we've had delicious breakfasts here and they do make great drinks. The ambiance and menu looked appealing for dinner, so we gave it a try. Try again. This place seems to know two flavors: salty and sweet, and not where you would usually find them. After the waitress suggested I avoid the carbonara if I didn't... More

My husband and I decided to have breakfast here (we are local) since we were up early. We were seated right away and ordered specialty coffees, but had to ask for our water to be filled (empty glasses on the table). We both ordered a special, my husband the chorizo hash and I had breakfast tacos with fruit. Since the... More

This is our favorite spot to eat in Astoria nad we have been there many many times. I would honestly recommend everything and I have never had a cocktail there that wasn't delicious! Def. Recommend!

They always have something special on the menu. Good coffee and baked goods. Super nice service. Free Wi-Fi and reading area. Very good cooking from scratch .

Our hotel recommended this restaurant for dinner. Food and service were outstanding. Definitely will return here in the future. After dinning there I heard the chief recently competed in and won the Iron chief competition.
