Good Recommendation from a Gas Station Attendant Works Out

While visiting Astoria, and filling up, we risked asking an attendant again a recommended spot for lunch. (We had done this in Florence, OR and had a bad experience. See one of my earlier reviews.) He stated that he used to work at this place and that it had great food! It's a little hard to get... read more

Stopped for a quick lunch at the Astoria Coffeehouse and Bistro. I had the Reuben sandwich and my wife had the fish tacos. There is sidewalk seating which allows you to enjoy Astoria's street life while you eat.

Good food, huge quantity, excellent brunch, reasonable priced restaurant for 4 while sight seeing. All enjoyed our visit! Quaint decorating. Try it, you'll like it!

We sat on the sidewalk at this lovely Coffeehouse for lunch on our trip last Sept. It was national burger day, so I had to get the Chili Relleno Burger! It was excellent! Everything was from scratch and fresh. A must stop in Astoria!

Such a hip decor here. Their drip was delish. Made a decent bloody Mary as well. Great monte Cristo as well. I had their oyster hash. Make sure you do as well. So good. Their baked goods looked amazing. Wish i thought to take some to go! ! Best spot in town for b fast.

This is a great place for a nice lunch. (I didn't eat the dinner, but I am sure it would be fab.) Expensive but very high quality. Comfortable seating, nice atmosphere. The food has unusual items as well as regular old options, so I think you could find something for most everyone. We had the poke and the ceviche appetizers-... More

Very good coffee. Not bitter, not burnt. Pastries were good as well. Look out though, there is a slight hippie factor to some of the food offerings. Other than that, great place to stop for a cup and a treat with friendly employees

Wife and I stopped in for a coffee in the morning. Both were great, and we saw the great brunch menu, which was vegan friendly. Came back later for food, and was not disappointed. Food was vegan, exceptionally good, along with great local beer. Highly recommended during your stop in Astoria.
