Excellent coffee

Very good coffee. Not bitter, not burnt. Pastries were good as well. Look out though, there is a slight hippie factor to some of the food offerings. Other than that, great place to stop for a cup and a treat with friendly employees

Wife and I stopped in for a coffee in the morning. Both were great, and we saw the great brunch menu, which was vegan friendly. Came back later for food, and was not disappointed. Food was vegan, exceptionally good, along with great local beer. Highly recommended during your stop in Astoria.

Were told they made the best fish tacos and that is a true statement. After having a great breakfast when they opened at 7am, we asked to see the dinner menu. We then made a reservation for that night because the menu had some pretty amazing dishes. When we arrived for dinner we were greeted like old customers and sat... More

My husband and I were staying at the Cannery Pier Hotel just for one night on our way to Olympic National Park. The front desk recommended the Astoria Coffeehouse and Bistro for dinner and made a reservation for us. We were driven there in one of the hotels classic cars. Even though our reservation was actually for 6:30, we arrived... More

My son and I stopped by while on a little road trip. He had fish tacos which he loved and I had the portabello caprese sandwich which was also fantastic. Ambiance is okay. A little overpriced. Large portions could be downsized a bit to help the cost. Overall, loved it.

This place is classic new Astoria. Great for small parties (6 or less) or singles. Terrific bakery and full bar and some of the very best food on the North Coast. In the right weather (which global warning is making more common in this part of the world) you can eat outside on the tables that look out on the... More

We stopped by and had a slice of carrot cake and a serving of the mousse. Both were delicious. The carrot cake was perfect, not too much in the way of nuts and raisins. It was fun talking to their employee behind the coffee/dessert counter. We talked about how the downtown area is undergoing a slow but steady revival. The... More

We decided to check out the northern Oregon Coast and headed south from Olympia, WA on a Thursday in March, and stopped in quaint Astoria, OR to get out and stretch our legs. We saw the Astoria Coffeehouse and decided to pop in for some coffee and an afternoon snack. So glad we did! The coffee was delicious and the... More

We had the grilled cheese sandwich and homemade tomato soup. Unbelievably good. Robust in flavor. Perfect for dipping our sandwiches. The vanilla-lavender latte an absolute must!
