My wife and I loved this small cafe! It has a friendly, eclectic atmosphere and an interesting menu with healthy ingredients. I had a black bean breakfast burrito, my wife had a quiche and we shared a berry scone. All were delicious. Busy place but the turnover kept a line from forming for seating.

Had lunch here. Funky. Great soups and sandwiches. On site bakery makes breads, chocolate and deserts.

I stopped in for breakfast based upon a recommendation from a barkeep at a local dinner restaurant and I was more than pleasantly surprised by their traditional and upscale offerings. I had the Breakfast Tartine (Two slices of Tartine bread perfectly toasted with goat cheese, baby leeks and blistered tomatoes) and left with more goodies for later....fresh raspberry and cream... Not sure if I was more impressed with the designs in our hot drinks or the taste of the regular bakery goods. They do offer gluten free but the cookie was a bit on the undercooked side even though our daughter enjoyed having something she could eat along with us. Coffee was flavorful and the design on top was very... More

The Blue Scorcher gave me just what I was looking for when I go to Oregon - excellent vegetarian food. I ran in for a sandwich and had a great experience. I ordered the TLT - tempeh, lettuce, and tomato. The bread was delicious and the sandwich was mouth watering. I ended up leaving with granola and a ginger chocolate... More

This is a place airstream trailer with the funny nickels should stop. Find out how many of those funny nickels buy here. Better wait until you have a twenty dollar bill. Overpriced. Return? No. Recommend? No.

The baked goods are second to none! I heard about this place on NPR on one of the cooking shows and had to try it. I can't remember having such delicious baked goods since I was in Europe. I may have to move to Astoria!

This restaurant makes me want to move to Astoria! The outside (Ft George Bldg) is so cool, and you open the door and are accosted with the aroma of breads, coffee and baked goods. It is rustic industrial inside, not huge, but open and casual. Very comfortable. We used wifi while we were there. There is such a unique and... More

The portions weren't as big as I would like, but the food was great. The food is a little eclectic and unique. My kids mentioned there was no meat on the menu; so a vegan type menu. We definitely aren't vegan, but the food was great and even the kids loved it.

A quick stop on a late afternoon produced few choices for our sweet tooth but intrigued us enough to come by the next morning. Sure enough, the counter was filled with tasty looking treats - a few savory and many sweet. We ordered two drip coffees and a savory croissant for the morning break. The croissant was slightly small, overbaked... More
