I have ate at Drina Daisy's multiple times while I lived in Astoria! The food has always brought back the familiar flavors of my childhood in Eastern Europe. This is a place I would, and will always call "a taste of home oceans away from grandmas kitchen". At extremely reasonable rates in today's economy. The Sarma, one of my favorites... More

Based on tripadvisor we came to this place with high hopes, only to be disappointed (from my end at least) one more time. We are Europeans with very good knowledge of the Eastern European cooking, and this was not quite it. The starters was a basic portion if dried meat with some marinated veggies. Tasted pretty fresh, so far OK.... More

Positive first: the burek is one of the best I ever had, the cabbage roll was good and the lamb was o.k. (I had better in Greece) the garnish is a bit awkward with the fruit, I remembered the fruit being served at the end of a dinner (together with a slivovitz) the service was not nice and forgot drinks... Went there last summer on a recommendation from a Croatian friend. We were not disappointed. Lamb was awesome and we decided it would be on our "must" list when in Astoria. Last week I took half a dozen famished friends there. They recommended a combination smoked meat plate as an appetizer. Phenomenal!!! The Sarma was even better than the lamb.... More

It is said over here in Europe that Seattle wash. and Portland Or are most like European cities. That is until one goes to Astoria, and old world charm reverberates. Drina Daisy brings that international flavor and good fresh cooked food, from whole lamb on the spit to fresh baked bread, all presented on an artistically arranged colorful selection of... More

Came here based on TripAdvisor reviews. Somewhat disappointed - I had the goulash and was just not impressed. The portion was huge (more than I could eat), but the meat had the consistency of something that had been reheated. The eggplant/red pepper dipping sauce served as an appetizer was tasty, but everything else was just average. Cannot understand the "excellent"... More

What a gem! We have always wanted go here and our friend recommended it. The stuffed cabbage and the beef stew was amazing, tender, and flavorful. Our plates came with a small side salad and a beautiful array of fresh fruit. We were too full for dessert, but that looked good as well. Nice atmosphere too!

We read the reviews of Drina Daisy but weren't sure what we would find. Wonderful food, friendly and knowledgeable server and the combination of flavors all working together were fantastic! Wish this place were closer to home but we will return on our next trip to Astoria!

Voted best place to eat in Astoria. This quaint place lived up to the rating. The owner is delightful and personable. We went for the lamb and it was a little late getting done, but we were treated to an appetizer plate for the wait. No problem. We would drive back to Astoria to eat there again.

We liked the goulash, cabbage rolls and beef pita. Also the bread with roasted red peppers was delicious.
