We dined here because of the great reviews it has. The food was good. The starter sausage was tasty and the pickled vegetables went really well with it. The goats cheese topping was also very good. The roast lamb platter was our main course. It was very tasty and succulent. The accompanying fruit was fresh and sweet. Not too sure... More

We had been wanting to try this very highly rated restaurant for more than a year. We stopped in for lunch. We were the only customers. We shared two dishes which were recommended by our server. Lunch was good but not great. Too expensive for what we got. Over rated.

This was the best dinner we had on a two week trip. All the courses were wonderful. This is a must visit. The appetizers and salads were exceptional. The lamb dinner for two was over the top. Don't miss it.

If you walk past this place as we have seen so many do then you are seriously missing out! I haven't had anything here that I can not highly recommend. There are options for vegetarians and people who are into your "meat and potatoes" style of food. And save room for the coffee and baklava at the end of your... More

It's been a few years but we loved this place. Very unique food, even though it's not anything complex. Very friendly server and fairly affordable. My favorite was sipping once in a while on a rose-essence drink that reminded me of Turkish Delight (rose-flavored). Will actually be going there again very soon.

We read the reviews about the lamb at this restaurant and I disagree with the over the top ratings. We started with the sausage and cheese with pickled vegetables appetizer. It was a good size portion but the taste was nothing memorable. In fact, it was comparable with any platter that would be served at a home party. We waited... More

We are sorry you were not pleased with your lamb. Perhaps you missed the advisory on our menu that clearly states that our preparation & presentation are “not typical” (to America). We are a Bosnian restaurant with a highly skilled & very experienced Bosnian chef. She served you what she served to Bosnians in her very successful restaurant in Bosnia... More

Consistently good home made from scratch food. Just returning from Europe, these kind of quality restaurants are harder to find. The work in the preperation and delivery to the table is a challenge less are willing to take. Everything on the menu is great. The lamb is out of this world! A must stop when in Astoria!

This is a little "Gem" we found in Astoria. The food i would rate as outstanding since even my pickiest family members said "Yes!". The pitas Burek and cabbage wrapped PItas are full of favors . The server Ken is very patient with my 5 year old who spilled out a glass of water. Comparing to most greasy or fried... More

This place is great. We were a little worried about it before going in, but the food was amazing. I had the spinach and cheese pita and my husband had the stuffed cabbage rolls. Both dishes were wonderful. Definitely comfort food! They are a little slow, but the food is totally worth it and my husband and I were in... More

My husband and I and my sister-in-law and brother-in-law had dinner there last night. Two of us ordered the Gulash and the other two had pitas. The pitas are actually made with filo dough. We had an appetizer plate with sausage, pickled veggies and stuffed peppers. We tried everything and loved it all. We would go there again.
