Very Yummy!

We wanted to try this place as soon as we had seen it on here! I'm so glad that we did! Our meal was very yummy, and for the price we got so much food! Our waiter was super nice, very helpful in selecting our meal. We were too full for dessert, so we went back a few days later... read more

My husband and I had read the reviews here about this restaurant and were very interested. While we were in Astoria my father saw the sign for Drina Daisy on the street and remarked that we should try it since none of us had ever had Bosnian food. We decided to go the next evening and we were sure glad... More

Read the reviews and had to give it a try. When we stepped in around 1:00pm, the place was desolate. Was minimally worried, but glad we stayed. You can taste the freshness in every bite! Had the Burek and it could not have been more satisfying. As previously mentioned, plenty of options for the vegetarian. Be forewarned that the foods... More

The food in this place is absolutely amazing! Everything is made fresh to order so if you are in a hurry then don't bother but if you enjoy dining at a casual pace then please visit. The smoked meats/cheese/veggie appetizer is yummy. Love the cheese pitas, stuffed cabbage rolls, lamb and goulash. Also the Baklava and coffee is the best... More

We have never had Bosnian food before so we were not sure what to expect but it is amazingly tasty yet similar to American comfort food in a way. The vegetarian cabbage rolls were my favorite and our vegan daughter was able to find food to eat here. A definite "to try" restaurant - if we return to Astoria we... More

One of the best meals in my forty-six years of living. If you come to the wonderfully unique town of Astoria, you must make time for this exceptionally good dining experience. The ingredients were individually so fresh, then so masterfully combined and seasoned, yet in a meal quite simple. It began with a luscious, but again simple, appetizer of roasted... More

Food good but service terrible. Only 1 waiter and place was full. Over an hour for food to come to the table. Crazy for only 1 person in the summer months!!!!!!

This is really good and authentic ethnic food. Yummy. But questionable service and not with a smile. Change that one thing and a home run.

Not ever having Bosnian food, we wanted to try this restaurant after reading the reviews. I didn't know what to expect, but our server was very knowledgeable and his suggestions proved to be excellent. The restaurant offers interesting wines and beers, and the atmosphere initially looked formal but was very comfortable. This restaurant represents this cuisine 100% favorably.

Never had Bosnian food before? Well, if you chose to dine at Drina Daisy you're in for a treat my friend. For at Drina you'll get not only a superb meal but a well-rounded introduction to this too little appreciated cuisine as well. The owner and chef is a true master of her craft. Regardless of what you order, you... More
