A fine brewhouse with good food!

My daughters and I arrived in Astoria in late-afternoon and walked from the Hampton Inn to the Rogues Ale Public House for some beer and snacks--good crowd even then, ok food, superb views.

One guy serviung the bar and the whole ale house did a great job making sure everyone was handled good recommendations on both food and brews and $16.00 for a burger is a lot, the food quality was good. More of a novelty place than a regular stop but worth it if your in the area

This is just a cool place. It is located at the end of a pier - so you have to drive out over a wooden dock. It is funky and the people are friendly.

We started with the beer sampler and let the bartender pick for us after we told him our dislikes. We were given an excellent assortment of beer and loved all but 1. I highly, highly recommend the cheese curds which Rogue has picked their cheese from Rogue Creamery to make this dish. It is mouth watering and the dipping sauce... More

Ordered cheese curds and fish and chips. The food was saturated in grease. Service not great and food was cold on top of everything else. Definitely a let down

Stopped here for lunch and the food and service were awesome. The pier location is very cool and you can see ships coming in/out. Rouge beers and spirits are always tasty and the food pairs great.

We ate here because we could walk from the Hampton Inn . . . it had a great food menu and beer too. We had the large sampler of beers and loved them all! The menu was kid friendly and the portions were large. I bet this is a great place to sit outside when the weather is warmer. Service... More

The food was really good with a great variety. Even some good healthy choices. Service was great. Friendly waiter. We came back the next day to eat there again. We had kids and they liked it. Location is really unique on a old canning pier.

Two visits in a row. Horrible service and horrible food. How embarrassing when you talk a place up and have two strikes in a row. The fish and chips were soggy like they were warmed over from the night before. So disappointing.

This location was part of a North coast beer crawl. Stopped in for a quick beer and bite. Tried the scotch eggs. Love those things. Served with a nice mustard sauce. Crispy, not greasy and good flavor. Also ordered a tasting tray--marionberry beer was fun, you could get a good feel for the berries, mocha porter very enjoyable, the smokey... More
