Great Beer and Attentive Staff

One of the coolest things about going to the Rogue Public House is getting to drive onto the pier to get the restaurant. We came in as a family of 5 at dinner time on a Sunday. We have three kids (12, 10 and 3). The kids ordered Rogue's own root beer. it was real root beer and had a... read more

Visiting Northern Oregon Coast. Was told Rogue Ales was great for beer. Enjoyed the beer sampler. Currently 30 choices. For food, I ordered Halibut and Chips. $17 seemed a bit high, and I figured the portion would be ample. Three small pieces and slightly warm fries. Not great. My wife liked the tacos. Restaurant was not busy at the time... More

Great beer and wonderful selection. Slooooow service and ridiculous pricing. $15.00 for a salmon Caesar salad. Consisted of a bag of $1.79 lettuce, 1 tablespoon of dressing, soggy croutons and a playing card size portion of over- cooked salmon. Obscene!

I ate at several restaurants in Astoria, and this one was the "go to" place. The beer is good, the food is very good, the staff is friendly, and the environment is very low key. I was surprised by their salad, very good fish and chips, and a beer for every taste. When trying someplace new, this was the standard... More

Excellent beer and food! We ordered two seprate samplers and tried about 10 total beers. All were excellent! The food was very good (great chicken / blue chees pizza and clam chowder). Service was a bit slow, but we stayed busy enjoying the beers :)

There is really nothing like driving up to this restaurant/brewpub. It is built at the end of a pier -- Pier 39 -- and you have to drive out over the water on this small wooden pier to get to it. Clackety-clack, clackety-clack. There are only about a dozen or so parking spots out on the pier, but if it... More

The Rogue Public House in Astoria is on a pier over the Columbia. Hard to imagine a better place to have a couple of their great beers. Staff and friendly and knowledgable and they offer a wide variety of beers and ales along with a great selection of things to eat.

Ate dinner here with a few co-workers. Ordered a burger and a beer. Food and beverage were both excellent. Paid my bill and on the way back to the hotel it dawned on me: I just paid $26 for a burger and a beer ! Was good, but likely won't go back - that was a little rich for my... More

We have been to several Rogue establishments. This was our first visit to the Astoria Rogue. It is similar to the others, except this one has a more open layout with a larger feel. Our waitress was kind and attentive. My wife and I shared a few appetizers. We shared chili, hot wings and tater tots. All were cooked average... More

We walked in and out of this place several times because no one acknowledged our presence or attempted to seat us. But we were determined and finally just went to a table. Our waiter seemed annoyed to be serving us from the get go. Our menus made the sun shine in his eyes, we asked questions about the beers, my... More
