Huge corner, but easy to miss as a restaraunt. Obviously built for retail with floor to cieling windows, portions not in proportion to window size. Try another one of Astorias fine restaraunts

Late lunch in Astoria. We both got fish and chips. The portions were a little small, the batter was not very crunchy, but the homemade cocktail and tarter sauces were good. Might come back for an evening cocktail sometime:)

It's no secret, I love love seafood. I was visiting my sister and bro in law in Astoria and my friend and her baby with me. We had a jolly old time slurping down oysters, drinking some finely crafted cocktails and enjoying ourselves. It didn't matter who ordered what, everything was delicious. We had seared ahi, clams, crab cakes and...

Pure, simple and very fresh "sea to table" food blew us all away. The modern space has been gently decorated with family antiques and modern art, shown by local artists. It was the most lovely atmosphere of any restaurant on our trip. The service was knowledgeable, warm and fun. We were stunned by our meal. The chef/owner came out to...

I am not a seafood fan (which I know is their specialty)...

Fantastic lunch of cappacio and lemon cesar salads. Came back for happy hour drinks and appys. Came back again after looking around for other options for dinner and finding everything else lacking - amazing oysters, crab/shrimp cocktail and figs. Drinks were sublime. Do not miss this!
This is an attractive place--good art on the walls. And we had plenty of time to look at it since no one came out to seat us, even though we made eye contact with 3 different staff members.
But it's a really attractive place, so we went back later, looked at the art again for a while, and finally left....
