Nice location on the waterfront just off the river trolley. This is a good place for families with kids and pets! Walking distance to many sites around town.

I got the crab cakes, and my husband got the fish and chips trio. We shared our food and it was all delicious. The host was friendly, but we came at a fairly busy time, and the waitress was slightly unfriendly. But it didn't ruin our lunch. We did not order any drinks during our visit.

This was our 1st time, and we'll be back next time we're in town. Food was great and so was the service. Great selection of beers and apparel and others souvenirs

We booked a pub tour thru Holland America and we were able to tour 3 pubs and this was our last stop. They had a large table set up in the back of the restaurant the owner and the beer master gave a great presentation. We had 5 different samples of the beer they make along with pretzels made with... The restaurant was full so I sat at the bar, where I could have full service. The fish and chips were great--hot, tender, fresh. I ordered a cherry cider from a local brewery--delicious. Nice, funky atmosphere, personal service.

We spent most of one day touring the Astoria area, a historic seaport in N.W. Oregon. I never pass up an opportunity to try a local or regional brew pubs offerings. This one had several that were quite potable. We had a fine lunch there also, and I would definitely give it a thumbs up.

The Wet Dog Cafe seems to be trying to do all types of things, a few of those being a restaurant, bar/saloon, candy stores, and brewery. We tried the Astoria Brewing Company beers and they were enjoyed by all and the food did well, although there was nothing memorable (just for the record, I wouldn't recommend fish and chips where... Wet dog cafe seemed great right from the start! We are out of town, came in for the night and decided to have a beer and maybe food. We came up to this place on bikes with our dogs and they instantly greeted me and got me started on a table outside right away. The gentleman who hosted us was... More

Had one night in Astoria on a road trip down the coast, chose Wet Dog and we're glad we did. I had a BBQ burger which was awesome, really great. The only downside was the ranch dressing which I asked to not be included but it was anyway, I had to scrape it off. My girlfriend had the best veggie... More

Especially if you are an aficionado of the best craft beers in the USA. Oregon's North Coast has at least 10 famous craft breweries along their "craft beer trail" and this is one you won't want to miss. Try the grilled oysters (fresh from the bay) for a delicious treat or meal.
