Clam chowder here is enough to bring me back. The cod fish and chips were good, but the batter could have been crisper and they were a bit greasy; maybe the oil wasn't at a high enough temp. Service was great and overall it was a nice meal.

I was looking forward to going to the Wet Dog for a month when I knew I'd be coming to Astoria. I'd checked out their website and it looked like a great place to eat and have a few craft beers. It was okay; not bad but not amazing either. I liked the variety of beers, having the five beer... More

Wow... great lunch!! The Salmon Fish & Chips were featured... prices decent, I feel. I had to oyster shooters, and they were very tasty & meaty... wish I had ordered more!! Had the 5 beer sampler... slick glasses. Beer was great, especially the Imperial Stout. Other beers hoppy, but typical for the NW, vs other areas of the USA. Even... More

We recently visited this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips - both the deep fried ones and the grilled variety. The beer ice cream was certainly a treat. Great service from Ryan and great food from the kitchen!! Nice rapport with Manager Ken Ermann.

We love to come here for lunch after taking our dogs for a walk on the beach. Great food, atmosphere, and location overlooking the water. Everytime we have been here, we have been impressed by the customer service of the manager and wait staff. Highly recommend.

Our latest visit was just great. Only had to wait about 10 minutes. Seems 30+ kids showed up, unannounced, unplanned for, shortly before we got there. (What were their parents thinking.) Our service was just right. Not to much or to little. Thank you Ryan, Ronda and Ken. We had beer, burgers, fries, chowder and desert. The burgers were very... More

Nice atmosphere, super friendly server and host. I ordered the smaller burger and it was fine for an evening meal. The family ordered the larger mondo burgers and LOVED them. My son wanted to go back the next day! Great place to stop and eat.

We arrived early afternoon, the special was 5 coconut shrimp and halibut. Really good. A flight of 10 beers to taste. Perfect afternoon. There was also a great view of the river. Person with me had a hamburger with fries also good.

On my way out I stopped the manager to compliment him on employing James and that we appreciated how we were treated. He suggested that I submit a review on tripadvisor.com, so here I am. For me and my wife James was the Goldilocks server, wasn't trying to be a new BFF and never long paused, sighed or rolled his... More
