Good pub food nice water view

Good quality food-we had slamon burger and pulled pork and onion rings . All solid but not spectacular. Very nice water view, casual, but quiet atmosphere. One of the few places open in March. Excellent beer selection. Both their own and othe locals . Friendly staff. Family friendly . Big... read more

My family is missing the hand dipped chicken tenders and I am missing the clam chowder. You can pay extra to take home the mason jar cheesecake ...it is worth it!

We ordered the fondue thinking it came with the house bread people were raving about. No, it was a small ramekin of fondue and came with a bunch of chopped up rye bread. When I asked about the house bread I was told it was $3 extra. I also saw they had raw oysters on the menu for $1.75 each.... More

This place is very unique and intriguing. Love the atmosphere and the funky beer names which also tasted great. The menu offered a nice variety with tasty sides - not just fries.

Great day at the beach. We came to Astoria for a birthday celebration and while walking the pier we asked a passer by for a restaurant recommendation and she suggested 'Wet Dog Cafe'. We popped in and were pleasantly surprised by a fun atmosphere, friendly service and a wonderful menu that made making a decision very difficult. We had the... More

The fish and chips are to die for. Not greasy. Just great local fish and a light ale batter. Tarter sauce was light and complemented the fish. The pork tacos as an appetizer were yummy. The fish is local and tasted great. The shrimp was locally caught. The atmosphere was nice. Bring your family the kids will love it. The... More

I went to the Wet Dog Cafe on a random Monday afternoon with my mother. I got the halibut cakes; she got the fish and chips. Both of our meals were excellent. Our server didn't hover, but was on the SPOT and kind. It was too early to drink for us, but I'd love to go back and try the... More

This felt lake a huge family restaurant where all ages can relax and have filling portions of very good fresh food and a good selection cold local beer, friendly and a view of the water if desired.

made two pit stops for lunch commuting between portland and washingtion. on both occasions the beers i wanted to try were not available. both times we had fried shrimp and halibut. just too much batter, however, the halibut were good sized and moist. they should switch to tempura batter or let the batter run off first.

We ate here during the annual regatta days so it was kind of crazy busy. The food was good and the staff handled the crowds very well. One nice feature was that the wall towards the river opens up and even though you were physically in the building you had a feeling of being outdoors.
