Everytime we go to Astoria we eat there and over the past two years the service has diminished greatly. First, let me quantify I know it's extremely challenging to find decent help in Clatsop County. Even with that caviot, there are plenty of other restaurants in the area that do provide decent service. On the past three trips we have... More

The beer, service and food was great! The staff was very friendly and welcoming! The Bad A$$ Brownie was to die for! Hope to visit again next time we're in Astoria!

We put our name in with a hostess and she left so the male host sat someone before us. They sat us right away. Made the mistake of ordering a mixed drink instead of beer but the food was good.

We went to the Basque area of downtown Boise on a Sunday night hoping to eat at a Basque restaurant. It was closed but next door was the Wet Dog Cafe. There was pleasant outside seating and welcoming attitude. I had Hagerman trout in a caper balsamic sauce and it was delicious. My wife had a pasta dish and we... More

We love this place! Great fish and chips, burgers and wide selection of beer with a view of the mighty Columbia. Very nice outdoor seating area that allows dogs! There are stairs at the main entrance but a ramp around the side where the outdoor patio is if stairs are a problem for someone in your party. The also have... More

Food looks good, nice atmosphere, great wait staff, kind of busy, but food was average. Kind of tasteless. We had different hamburgers we all agreed it wasn't the best and all were tasteless. Not sure I'd try again unless I lived here than I might just to see if something else was better.

I had the pulled pork sandwich and a cherry hard cider and my husband is trying all the places that serve halibut fish and chips. Pulled pork was great but messy and came with a side. I had coleslaw, which was probably not the best choice as it came with coleslaw on the sandwich. It was great. My husband says... More

I forget how many years we have been going here, but once again everything was fantastic, we have had breakfast, lunch and dinner here, many times, the fish and chips and beers were great as always, sorry for the late review but we are going again next moth!

We found ourselves in Astoria on a Friday Night and we also found ourselves at The Wet Dog Cafe! The server was efficient and friendly, the beer choices varied, the food was good and the musician that happened to be there was talented. We really enjoyed ourselves.
