Greek was somewhat new to us, we liked it. Average service, good food, gyro portion was somewhat small, I could easily eaten a half pound. more

Absolutely terrific fare. I've never had a bad meal here. Everything is always fresh and good. Original menu, yet they have standard fare for those less adventurous. Kitchen is clean and the service is friendly and quick. The location is horrible, set back on a riverfront building between Chevron and Pizza Schmizza. I would eat here again in a millisecond. The food was awesome. I never thought I liked zucchini but I do! I had the chicken with rice and vegetables. I brought my son (age 3) with me and he had a hamburger, so yes they have standard fair. The building is a bit difficult to find as it is set... more

Great Food! The cook is excellent. I just moved from Tonga and I have lived here in Astoria for a few months and the Lazy Spoon is the best food in town by far!
