Good Italian

Very good Italian food. Friendly and attentive wait staff. No fish or veal night we were there, which was disappointing, but the tastiness of what we ordered made up for that. The bread pudding is to die for!!

Our second visit her and my opinion still is unchanged. The restaurant is very old world in it's decour. The service was very good, pleasant, and helpful. We both had pasta. I had a penni with italian sausage in a stone ground mustard sauce which was excellent. My wife had the putensca which was also excellent. I originally wanted veal... More

We stopped by on our way home from the coast for lunch because they carried our favorite local gin, Gompers Gin. Very friendly server made us Gompers Gin martinis to start which were perfect. Grilled romaine Cesare salad with chicken was delicious as was the meatball pannini with pasta. We will definitely return when we are in Astoria again.

We always enjoy Fulio's. The owner, Peter, is a great guy & always gives you the warm welcome. Interesting menu - all the usuals you'd expect from a traditional Italian restaurant, but with some twists and surprises too. Actually, they are SO traditional that they give you a rather small amount of their (delicious) sauces on really HUGE plates of... More

The staff was very attentive and helpful. My niece ordered the fettuccini Alfredo with smoked salmon. It was delicious but the portion of the salmon to pasta was very small. We asked for more and they gave us another portion of salmon. This was the perfect amount. The ciabatta bread was fresh and flavorful. I had chicken Marsala served with... More

This is our second trip to Fulio's. My husband stuck with the squash ravioli with gargonzola and curry cream sauce and it is excellent. I tried their other house specialty, the word Piccolo was in the name but they called it string pasta (linguine) with pancetta and 2 oz of crabmeat in a pesto with pine nuts. I would not... More

The wife and I were on vacation in the Pacific Northwest and spent one night in Astoria. We were in the mood for Italian and since the place we wanted to go to in Seaside was closed we ended up here. Atmosphere is very, very nice - big open main room, high ceilings, nice music playing in the background. We... More

Our hotel recommended Folio's and they were right. The food was hot and delicious! We met the owner/manager and had an excellent conversation of the Navy (we both served) and food. Having lived in Italy for a few years the food and his preparation were reminiscent of what I experienced there. He personal met with each table to ensure all... More

For a small old fashioned restaurant the food was superb. Located in the heart of Astoria. Only problem is Everything was closed when we finished dinner.

We have been all over Italy and found Fulio's in Astoria to be a wonderful example of fine Italian Cuisine. The atmosphere and food were quite similar to what we experienced in Italy. It was all wonderful. They have a great wine menu as well.
