I stopped by The Ship Inn because of its beautiful location. I was greeted by my waitress Janet, who was NOT friendly and looked like she would rather be anywhere else. I first asked if I could sit on the outside patio to see the water. Janet looked irritated, pointed in the general direction of the patio and told me... More

My wife and I had dinner there. She had the Halibut and chips, and said it was very good. I made the mistake of ordering the oysters. The batter was so thick and greasy you couldn't taste the oysters. I don't know who told them that smothering them in a ton of batter was a good idea, it's not! I... More

We truly enjoyed the wonderful view, our server was attentive and congenial. Had read reviews on the combo seafood platter, gave it a try and was disappointed. Heavy batter, greasy. The coleslaw was fresh, but all in all just OK. Will give it another try during our next visit but definitely not having any fried seafood dish.

My wife & I stopped by for a late lunch on a day of running errands. I had the Combination Fish & Chips consisting of two pieces of Halibut, Cod, Scallops, Oysters & Prawns, Steak Fries & Cole Slaw. My wife had the Senior Halibut Fish & Chips which has a Cup of Soup instead of Cole Slaw. The seafood... More

This was our second choice since the line was long at Bowpicker's, it was close, and we didn't have that much time. We thought perhaps we arrived for the senior discount dinner time for all the seniors around us. The food was average, nice portions, fairly prompt. The wait staff wasn't tremendously outgoing. Prices were reasonable. I can see this... More

This is a dated dark building. Service was OK. Fish and chips was very average. There are better restaurants in town.

Unfamiliar with this town we thought to give this place a try and should have left when it took way too long just to get a menu and then a glass of water. The service continued to be inattentive. The fish and chips we ordered took quiet a while and then were very disappointing and therefor overpriced. The place is... More

When we vacation from Tennessee to the West Coast our goal is to eat as much seafood as we can hold. We always look for places that have good reviews or are reccommended by the locals. We stopped for gas and asked the attendant were to go for good local seafood and he turned around and pointed at the place... More

Senior fish and chips a bargain for the location and view. Excellent service. Especially appreciated the dining chairs with wheels.

Fish in chips were so good years ago, not anymore. Fish was average at best. Price is absurd. Food quality was poor, I will not be returning and do not recommend. The view is good but that's about all that's left. Very very disappointing as this place use to have the best fish and chips around.
