When we vacation from Tennessee to the West Coast our goal is to eat as much seafood as we can hold. We always look for places that have good reviews or are reccommended by the locals. We stopped for gas and asked the attendant were to go for good local seafood and he turned around and pointed at the place... More

Senior fish and chips a bargain for the location and view. Excellent service. Especially appreciated the dining chairs with wheels.

Fish in chips were so good years ago, not anymore. Fish was average at best. Price is absurd. Food quality was poor, I will not be returning and do not recommend. The view is good but that's about all that's left. Very very disappointing as this place use to have the best fish and chips around.

Main tourist season in Astoria. We found seats in the bar and chose from the regular menu. To my disappointment, this restaurant does not serve salmon in any form or way, not crabcakes. Both are a standard everywhere else... and this IS the coast both fish and crab are caught. Very strange. No healthy fare on the menu. The closest... More

I have been coming here for years. This trip left me disappointed. The restaurant smelled dirty and stale. The server was in a hurry to leave for the afternoon and service was really bad. Food was ok but not the standard I have previously experienced.

I've visited the Ship Inn twice. The first visit left me wanting more. The food was excellent and I was satisfied with the service. The second visit made me second guess a future visit. After being seated, there was a bus boy who brought out water. Two waitresses were going back and forth past us several times, but no acknowledgement... More

We stopped in w/o either a recommendation or having read reviews. Darn glad we did! Super service, view and the food! We each had an open face crab salad sandwich on an English muffin...over the top.

I have been eating at the Ship Inn for many many years. Their food quality is consistently reliable. They specialize in their deep fried fish. Their scallops are particularly good. Never greasy. Calimari, halibut, cod, oysters, and fan-tailed shrimp are also good. A half combo plate will get you a piece of each and several scallops. It's big. A full... More

Have to say I was a bit put off by the smell when we went in, but it went away in the restaurant part of the place. The food was excellent, the server was really nice she gave us some great ideas for exploring Astoria. They have a decent kids menu and the value was good.

I could close my eyes and be in a British pub somewhere in England. The menu is real fish & chips and other seafood items. Service is good, views are spectacular and food is good. Worth a visit if traveling through Astoria area.
