Over priced dump

We went for lunch and the service was ok. The food was way overpriced for what you got. We won't be going back or recommending it to anyone.

My husband and I chose the Ship Inn for a special night out. We both had the combo fish n chips, he a full order and myself a half. The food is outstanding, the best sea food we have ever had. The staff, service, atmosphere and location on the Columbia River are wonderful. We were even entertained by seals frolicking... More

If you want the best Captain's Plate in town, you must visit the Ship Inn. Jill the owner takes a lot of pride in her establishment. The prices are average but the food is out of this world. If you are an average eater, just order a half order. If you eat a lot, go ahead and order a full... More

My daughter and I split a full order of combo fish n chips (shrimp, 2 types of fish, scallops, oysters). We could not finish it off it was so much food! Well cooked, fast, hot, tasty. Nothing fancy, no swanky decor, just really good eats. Great view of the bridge and boats coming and going. Be sure to watch out... More

Second time that we have been there. I could not find the other two places that were listed on my GPS! But since we had been here before this one was just fine. Nice view of the river. Food was pretty good. Floor shakes when people walk by which I found somewhat annoying. Overall I liked my dinner and will... More

Let's start by saying this is NOT a British fish and chips place or a British pub. What it is is a more than adequate restaurant. Took the kids for dinner and had cod & chips, kids had shrimp & chips. I have to say that the shrimp were perfectly cooked and very tasty. My cod was tender and moist... More

Everything I have had there has been excellent. The chowder is to die for, the halibut fish and chips are terrific- thick chunks of halibut deep fried to perfection. The English specialties are very good too, although I havent' been brave enough to try steak and kidney pie.

....and I went along though I would not have recommended it. Our first clue (this time) was when the young and obviously new host spilled water all over our table. We should have been seated elsewhere as the place was almost empty, but no, he tried to mop up the worst, and we used up all our napkins to try... More

This place cannot be beat. From the clam chowder, the shepherd pie great , but the fish and chips still the best. Choice of fresh fish includes calamari, shrimp, scallops, halibut and oysters. Deserts are all homemade our favorites can be banana cream, cocoanut cream Chocolate. The drinks are good including our favorite the pint beers. Still the best fresh... More
