The menu is reasonably wide-ranging, the preparation is relatively predictable, the portions are huge, the facilities are very clean, the service is small-town familiar, so why only 2 stars? For precisely those reasons. My wife and I had visited this establishment when it went by a different name - quite devoted to fish, slightly up-scale, mature, thoughtful and I've been... More

Its where we go when we want a nice, affordable lunch, always just a little different. A great place to take visiting friends, with a varied menu. Unpretentious, personable owners and wait staff.

I lived in Astoria for many years until my recent move and during that time ate at several of the local restaurants. T Paul's Urban Café was my favorite, hands down. The food is fabulous, the servers friendly and efficient, the owners a class-act, and . Paul's is one of the things I miss most about Astoria. Favorite dishes? Chipotle... More

I live in the area, and whenever my wife and I want to go somewhere we usually end up here or at their sister restaurant, The Supper Club. What's not to love...? The service is courteous, attentive, and helpful. The atmosphere is intimate and fun. The food is always delicious, and I usually spend less than I thought I would.... More

Good food in a good atmosphere with courteous staff. Great for lunch. Medium priced meals. This is a casual place where you order at the counter and wait staff bring you your meal. The owners are very nice and that transcends down through their staff. Consistently good. Note of Caution: Strong red onions are a staple in their menu so... More

We stopped in here on a cold evening. It was warm and comfortable. I had the oysters and my friend had the steak salad. My wife tried a chicken dish. The food was so good! The waitress was very attentive but not overly so. Super clean and laid back. There's an area further towards the back that looked nice and... More

The food was great, however my parents were in visiting from across the country so I wanted to show them some great restaurants in the area. My dad's older an is a picky eater but wanted to go with the flow he simply requested the steak sandwich but plain as in just with steak... The waitress looked at him like... More

Probably seats 12-14 folks so plan on waiting. Food, however, was very good and unusual for breakfast. The Salmon hash was outstanding!

With there being so many good places in Astoria to enjoy lunch, this was our most disappointing choice so far. At just after noon, they were out of the salmon burgers, so the second choice was a grilled tuna melt ... should have chosen something else since it was bland and the accompanying of the thinly sliced, almost still green...
