Spent a few days in Astoria as a birthday treat. Chose Urban Cafe for dinner on my birthday. Could not have been better! I had the special of Shrimp Fettuccine with sun dried tomatoes. So good. Husband had the Sole and enjoyed as well. Our server was wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend. (We have been here... More

The server forgot to bring us our salads. After we notified her she tried to bring us our salad and entrees at the same time. I asked her to bring the entrees back after the salads and keep them warm. When they were brought back they were cold. Server needs to be more attentive. Four dots for food two dots... More

I had the Norwegian, which was turkey and cream cheese and was grilled...hubby had almost the same thing but with pork. We could have split one and still been full. It was happy hour so wine was... On our drive down the Oregon Coast Highway, we stopped in Astoria not knowing much about the place. Our GPS brought us on the main drag and once parked, we went in search of a good, inexpensive meal. Thanks to the Tripadvisor certificate of excellence posted in the window, we stopped here after only a couple minutes searching. As I... More

I did takeout from this place, which is located in the center of old Astoria. This is a tiny place. The food was very good. It seemed to have lots of very fresh ingredients. I had a curried chicken quesadilla which was one of the best quesadillas I've every had. The havarti turkey sandwich on focaccia was also superb. The... More

We stopped at the Urban Cafe during a day of sightseeing. Very nice food, great service. There isn't a lot of space in the room so the tables were pretty crowded. I had a pulled BBQ chicken sandwich which came with two dipping sauces. Really more than I could eat but very good. In fact, the blue cheese dipping sauce... More
