Really great late lunch!

We stopped in about 4pm, only a couple other tables were filled. Both hubby and myself had sandwiches and they were sooooo good. I had the Norwegian, which was turkey and cream cheese and was grilled...hubby had almost the same thing but with pork. We could have split one and still been full... read more

On our drive down the Oregon Coast Highway, we stopped in Astoria not knowing much about the place. Our GPS brought us on the main drag and once parked, we went in search of a good, inexpensive meal. Thanks to the Tripadvisor certificate of excellence posted in the window, we stopped here after only a couple minutes searching. As I... More

I did takeout from this place, which is located in the center of old Astoria. This is a tiny place. The food was very good. It seemed to have lots of very fresh ingredients. I had a curried chicken quesadilla which was one of the best quesadillas I've every had. The havarti turkey sandwich on focaccia was also superb. The... More

We stopped at the Urban Cafe during a day of sightseeing. Very nice food, great service. There isn't a lot of space in the room so the tables were pretty crowded. I had a pulled BBQ chicken sandwich which came with two dipping sauces. Really more than I could eat but very good. In fact, the blue cheese dipping sauce... More

We have not had a bad meal in Astoria. Today we lunched at T Paul's. We sat in the back which was a little dark but mostly empty which made for easy conversation. The wait staff is very friendly but you order at the counter and your food is brought to you. I had the half garlic quesadilla combo. The... More

We chose the Urban after having it suggested by multiple locals and were immediately smitten with the atmosphere. The service quickly proved to be good spirited and friendly, and the quirkiness of the place left me taking in the scene around me longer than I expected for a smallish sized eatery. Even the old school PeeChee folders used as menu... More

Fun stop for lunch in Astoria. Lunch deal includes 1\2 quesadilla served with salsa and chips and a choice of salad or soup. The Mediterranean chicken quesadilla was delicious with chicken, feta, spinach and a dill dipping sauce. The clam chowder was extra creamy with plenty of potatoes and clams. Fun atmosphere with great food and good service. Would recommend... More
