Family Lunch

We needed a quick lunch spot on our way out of town and decided to try Urban Cafe. Everything was great! We had salads, sandwiches, clam chowder, chips & salsa and a giant peanut butter cookie! It took a little longer than usual to get the food but it was worth the wait!

We have eaten restaurant meals in Astoria on many occasions, but I have never enjoyed a meal more than the tasty food dished up in this casual, idiosyncratic, storefront restaurant in the downtown. I had the most delectable pan fried oysters, and the dinner came with a substantial and delicious salad. The ladies who waited on us were delightful, and... More

We really enjoyed the ambiance and food here. Fresh catch and delightful servers. We look forward to returning someday to try out more fare.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. Highly recommended if you are ever in the Astoria area. My family and I stayed only two nights but came here twice to eat.

My husband and I pass through Astoria every year on our way to Cannon Beach and have enjoyed every lunch we have had. Their Shaker Lemon Pie is my all time favorite pie. Wish I could have a slice sent to my home once a month. Love the eclectic decor also which include interesting quotes and art objects.

My wife and I had a lunch and would rate this place as very good. Unique menu with daily specials. You order at the counter, seat yoursel and the food is brought to you.

We came upon T Paul's Urban Cafe while walking around the great little town of Astoria, OR. It looked clean and contemporary from the outside so we took a chance and I'm really glad we did. Had a very healthful turkey sandwich and bowl of delicious clam chowder. Portions were generous, prices were reasonable and the staff was super friendly.... More

I started my birthday outing with my husband at this cozy cafe. They had open seating with themed decor around each table. Our table was love-themed. I enjoyed looking at the decor as we waited on our food. My chicken sandwich (The Funky Chicken) with chips and salsa was delicious. It was a wonderful place to celebrate my birthday and... More

Food portions were large and extremely tasty. Really enjoyed the quesadilla and pannini. Took a break from clam chowder and had basil split pea which was very good. Only 2 somewhat negative comments would be the fresh fruit with the pannini was a sliced apple. Also the African cichlid fish tank in the rear was in deplorable condition. Hadn't been... More
