This restaurant offers excellent seafood (creative salmon and halibut dishes) as well as steaks and prime rib.

Lunch here was just ok. Fish n Chips and dessert. Inside needs a serious facelift and the food a revamp in presentation. Wouldn't come again as there are other places better.

Jeff is a Martin, related to the late Steve Martin of Cannon Beach , and well known properties there and learned and worked the buisnesses down there like the Wayfarer, and Stephanie Inn . Citing his teeth down there he brought his culinary skills to Astoria, and has been doing a great job. Happy hours are great. Turkey sandwich a... More

Wonderful happy hour food. We had a caesar salad and calamari and the turkey sandwich and really good draft beer, locally made. The bill was only $30 for a lot of food and a couple of beers.

Stopped for lunch while passing through Astoria (based upon TA review) Nicely furnished interior which manages to retain an " old Astoria" flavor while being clean, fresh and free of old world odors. The fried oysters rank with the best I've had anywhere and are certainly worth the effort to make the visit. However, my wife's low carb Chicago melt... More

Ate dinner with my 80+ year old Mom who had the seafood crepes. Crepes not cooked all the way through. I had steamers - good but nothing special. Two types of wine (a glass each) excellent. Restaurant was not very crowded when we went so quiet except for the 60s music playing, something I thought a bit odd for a... More

We went to the Silver Salmon on the advice of the desk clerk at our hotel - and with a coupon she gave us. I had been in Astoria before and knew it to be a charming town. I did not know this restaurant which is a real gem. The service was excellent (our waiter even sent us the Oyster... More

We loves the salmon with crab and smoked Gouda cheese in an excellent sauce. The sauce didn't overpower the excellent salmon. As well, be sure to order the clam chowder. It is the best--thick and rich, with tender, fresh clams. Our waiter, Kyle, was friendly and helpful, but not overbearing. The atmosphere of the place is nice, not too formal,... More

Silver Salmon Grille was recommended to us for dinner and we were glad that we followed the recommendation. The location is right in downtown Astoria, an easy walk from our accommodation at Franklin Street Station B & B, and the menu presented us with many tasty choices. The salmon dishes---as the name indicates---are the house specialities and both of our... More

This restaurant has a nice menu and salmon several ways. The food was reasonably priced and the waitstaff served us well. While there is nothing here that was outstanding, it was a bit above other dining experiences in Astoria for us.
