My expectations were not real high because from the outside the restaurant looks like a local family style eatery. I was looking for something special for my BF's birthday and we have found Clemente's to be highly over rated and pricey. I was so pleasantly surprised! The interior turned out to be much nicer than I anticipated. We were seated... More

A great place to eat salmon (or whatever) in Astoria. I did not try their gaming and you probably do not want to eat that either. Could do nicely with just food.

I know the name is Silver Salmon and their Salmon is excellent. When I visit them, I get their fried chicken.

We stopped in for lunch, a bit pricey but, it is fresh seafood, and done well. The salmon crepes are wonderful, the clam chowder thick, rich and loaded with clams. Mom had the Oyster stew, delicious. Hubby, Steve's Halibut, it was amazing. I enjoyed the pan fried Oysters, done perfectly, as we're the potato pancakes. We even had room for... More

had a party of 4 and all of us were very pleased with our food and service. Started with some excellent drinks. Our dinners were very good. Steaks were cooked to perfection. We finished with some excellent desserts.

Greeted and seated by the smiling owner. Wait staff were all very professional but personable. The wife and I are light eaters so our waiter helped us with a menu choice that we could share. They took the extra effort to plate our meal on two plates rather than just bringing an extra plate. Blackened salmon, clam chowder & sour... More

We found this restaurant a bit on the expensive side, considering they have paper on top of the tables with crayons and our dinner cost $60 without tip. The decor also needs to be worked on, was looking a bit tired and worn. Wait staff was very attentive which was nice.

A smallish restaurant, so you may have to wait on a busy night, but well worth the wait. It's a little spendy, but if you want to splurge on an excellent meal, this is the place to be.

We stopped for a quick lunch and it was not a mistake. The crepes with smoked salmon just melted in mouth. I can highly recommend to everybody to try this delicious appetizer. The dishes with parmesan salmon and halibut were just average. Rice with raisin and cranberries was great, but portions are small. Price was reasonable. Interior of the restaurant... More
