This place is the epitome of a dive on the inside and outside. However, don't let the perpetual 50's decor fool you. The breakfast chef knows what he is doing and will make you a monster sized and delicious way to start your day. He does crepes, Mexican themed, seafood themed, and traditional breakfast foods. We did not eat there... More

To say the The Columbian Café does not have the outward appearance of an excellent place for a superior dining experience is an understatement; and that makes it all the more fun to eat there. Using superior local ingredients of all sorts Marco prepares each dish cooked to perfection and loaded with fresh flavor. Recently, I ordered a smoked salmon... More

This is a very small intimate cafe with 10 stools, 3 booths and outdoor seating. We sat at the counter opposite the grill/griddle and saw our meal being prepared to ballet precision. Allergic to shellfish? She moved it to my meal. Allergies to pasta/gluten she served it with rice. If you get there at prime eating times there might be... More

My husband and I ate here on July 4th, 2014. We were only in Astoria for one night and stubmbled upon this place while walking around. We are SO happy we popped in as it turned out to be the best meal we had during our week long Oregon/Washington coastal road trip. Looks can be deceiving in this instance as... More

Everything we had was great...a small, funky restaurant... looks like an old tavern... but the chef makes miracles in her tiny kitchen... all 4 of us had incredible dishes... great service and a fun evening... will be back as often as possible... as they also have breakfast and lunch...

Terrible service in an eclectic type restaurant. Not the greatest experience and there are so many better places to eat in Astoria. Sorry buys.

We arrived for lunch shortly before noon on a weekday. No wait for a table. Our food arrived almost an hour after we ordered. The food is good and fresh, nothing extraordinary. We probably won't eat here again due to the long wait. Couldn't really understand it since the restaurant wasn't crowded and only seats about 25 people.

If your idea of a good meal is olive garden and Denny's, this isn't your place. If you want fresh, locally sourced fish and vegetarian meals in an eclectic atmosphere, you will be happy. Their breakfast is particularly inviting. It is something in between a dive bar, a northwest natural food store and a food cart. Honestly, it isn't my... More

We hadn't been to the Columbian Café since the owner Uriah was cooking on premises so we thought we would stop in. Had a great dinner, nice folks, good timing, al went well. We then decided to go back the next morning for breakfast. Our waitress obviously decided that we were not the type of folks who should be at... More

We were fortunate to dine at a time where we could get right in. Thought the service was very attentive. We had no problem with slow service as 'good food takes time.
