We had a fabulous Valentine's dinner at Baked Alaska. The decor was cozy and simple, more like a home than a restaurant in some ways, which we really like. And being right on the water is always a treat. The working river boat next door provided some working scenery too as he pulled out to meet a ship. Our hostess... More

Saw that the Baked Alaska has a new pizzeria and went just last Saturday. We liked the menu choices so we ordered a sausage and cheese pizza and "the chicken" which is kinda a sandwich made with pizza dough. Both were great. The dough was good, the chicken also had pear and garlic in it so tasty. Fast service and... More

Excellent service. A bit spending, but the food is worth it. River view, very fresh and well prepared food.

It was a Saturday night in April 2013, after a long trip to Astoria and having reservations at another restaurant ignored. Our hotel called Baked Alaska for a last minute reservation and they accepted. We showed up to wonderful, friendly service and an immediate seating. I believe our waitresses name was Tara. Really nice. Very helpful. The food was terrific.... More

Three for lunch and we cannot say enough about the taste treats: Soup of the day was carrot/ginger and thick with both carrot and ginger aftertastes. Grilled Caesar, the romaine was grilled and the cheese shredded on top with croutons. This was one of the best dressings we have ever eaten. The extra bread at the table helped sop up... More

Great place to sit & watch the water. Oysters were fresh and beautiful, but pink peppercorn mignonette was cloyingly sweet. Can't say enough about the bartender. Skilled & friendly. Would definitely give it a second try. The pizza menu looked great (wood-burning oven)

Hubby and I enjoyed a waterfront dining experience. Food was quite good, reasonably priced and the waitstaff friendly and helpful.

Our first trip after the remodel and ascetically the place is appealing, looked clean and the service was good and the food was too! That is the problem, nothing special! Prices are moderately high, I want to be impressed with something. We were not. We will go back when the bar is finished and try the pizza, I hope I... More

I have been to Baked Alaska numerous times for lunch and dinner and always find the food to be excellent as well as the service. My favorite is their super delicious clam chowder with a glass of wine! Yummy! After trying the clam chowders all over town this is my favorite. The views are wonderful which is a nice perk... More
