An Astoria classic!

Always fresh pastries, cookies and donuts. Very hometown feeling. Staff is always very nice and the prices are very reasonable. No frills here, just good homemade baked goods. Worth a stop for sure!

While shopping at a local thrift store someone mentioned they had the best bread from a Danish Bakery on the main street in Astoria so we went looking for this bakery and what a nice surprise to find this cute old fashioned bakery with all kinds of treats and sweets. We choose a variety of donuts and cookies and enjoyed... More

We love this family owned and run bakery. Everything is fresh and delicious. It is a fun place to sit and have a pastry and coffee or tea. Great variety of products and very friendly staff!

We found this bakery by accident and decide to have a cookie and coffee. I ordered a chocolate cookie of some type, definitely NOT chocolate chip, and it was hard as concrete. Way over cooked in the oven. I had to order a small danish, and it was not much better. My wife ordered a cruller type donut. It was... More

Looked like it would be good...puffed pastry and pecans, but after one bite you could tell it wasn't fresh...and it must have been around for a few days...husband agreed his too was old tasting.. $5 for both...sort of like a baklava...don't buy that! We bought these to take on our walk up the Astoria column which I highly recommend if... More

Just had one of those great plate size danish crispies. Loved them as a kid, and still do! Buttery and good!

The apple turnover had just the right amount of sugar on top, and the filling tasted homemade - it wasn't overly sweet like most apple fillings I've had, but had a tartness to it (Granny smith perhaps?) that I really enjoyed. The lemon donut was also nice. My wife enjoyed the elephant ear.

I remember this place from when I was a child. Nothing has changed. Nothing. But the pastries are a blast from the past as well. Stop in, try some real Danish pastries.

Not only is everything we tried amazing, the owners are super friendly too. You don't find places like this anymore. Don't let the inexpensiveness fool you, the good is incredible.
