We had breakfast here. It's a nice, clean place with friendly staff. I had eggs benedict, and it was delicious! I think the secret here was the especially tasty ham. But we thought the breakfasts were about $2 too expensive. Now, we get that Astoria is a tourist destination, so I guess that's to be expected. But $2.35 for Boyd's... More

This Pig'n Pancake has been here for a long time and the food quality changes with different cooks. The first thing you notice upon entering is the quite unnecessary stuffies, nick-knacks curios and cards for sale but there are no antacids in the display case to warn of impending disaster. I ordered Halibut fish and chips for dinner and when the... More

We usually stop here on our way home from the Oregon coast. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and the sauce was more on the light brown side, like a gravy. Didn't get a real Benedict sauce flavor. The ham was really salty, and I'm a salt lover so salted first. Oooops, big mistake. Hubby liked his spanish omelet I guess... More

Just a place to eat. Nothing special going on here. Sherri's type food and atmosphere but not as good. Very meh. We thought it was going to be quirky our fun for some reason. Its not. The service was good enough. Food was fine but if you are on a trip and looking for a place worth writing home about,... More

We decided to try this place on a daytrip to Astoria. The service wasn't the best, the waitress took a long time to come to our table even though there were hardly any customers. Most of the servers were just standing around talking to each other, or sitting at tables. I had a crab melt which lacked flavor and was... More

Based on a recommendation from a biker we talked to along the way, it was an easy decision to opt out of the mundane hotel breakfast buffet and head over to Pig 'n Pancake. So glad we did! It's a family-run restaurant in existence since 1961 and expanded several times. We had Eggs Benedict and Pigs in a Blanket. Excellent!... More

The Pig as the locals call it has great pancakes. I prefer the sourdough, but the buttermilk pancakes are outstanding too. Even though it's not listed on the menu short stacks of 2 or 4 buttermilk pancakes are available. My husband ordered a ham and cheese omelette, he upgraded to sourdough pancakes, and I ordered a short stack (2) of... More

I so enjoyed my first visit my husband and I ate here the next night. My first meal was a pecan waffle with oregon blueberry syrup. YUMMY. The second night I had the Crab Louie and it being small portion was very filling. The service was fun courteous and professional. Upbeat and homey is the feeling you have as you... More

Something for everyone on the menu. The buttermilk pancakes are tender and tasty. Coffee is expensive, but pretty good.

They have a fairly extensive comfort food menu. We stopped for breakfast, which was great. The prices were fair and the food excellent. My fellow patrons seemed to be enjoying there meals as well.
