Astoria Weekend

Very good food. We had breakfast and it did not lack for flavor, portions and service. I would reccommend this restuarant

After getting settled into our hotel room @ the Holiday Inn Express, we decided to 'walk' to the Pig 'n Pancake.. Good Idea, Great choice. Kids had, yes, pancakes, grown ups had grown up food, all very good and the service was great.

I have to say, we did not think it possible that a restaurant could screw up a breakfast however this restaurant can! I ordered an omlet, bacon and mushroom with swiss cheese. The omlet contained "bacon bits." Yes, the bacon bits that are the imitation meat that you find at a salad bar! The flavor was disgusting. The restaurant was... More

Went here with my Husband for dinner. He got the steak and eggs and ordered his steak medium-well. Pin 'n Pancake need to go back to the glory days. It looks shopworn and is in need of refurbishing. Food is average and to visit Astoria and not go there, would be an error. Best for breakfast.

We ate at the Pig 'n Pancake in Astoria. Were not expecting too much, it has been a number of years since we last were in Astoria and had eaten there. The service was very good, Clam Chowder excellent. We considered stopping at the one at Seaside but it was so crowded and the wait time was long so decided... More

Breakfasts were good, service was very good, and prices were reasonable. The restaurant was very busy, but our server was very attentive and our food arrived at our table with little wait time.
