Former "Sambos", family owned restaurant. Food was quite good but seemed a bit pricey for the plain folks ambiance.

Stephanie's is a casual old fashion coast cafe, but what it lacks in ambiance it more than makes up for with it's food. This is a nice clean family style cafe popular with the locals. We found the service very good and friendly and the seafood was some of the best in the area. This is not a fancy place... More

First we didn't get greeted on entering, the hostess and the server were both at the register. I asked for a large OJ, thought I would get it before my meal, it did come until way after I received my meal. I received a OJ in a 8 oz glass. Hummm normally larges are a lot bigger. The silver wear... More

We thought we'd try a more local breakfast joint as opposed to the better known chains. The pancakes were pretty chewy and the hash browns somewhat greasy. The bacon was good, a generous sized biscuit with generic gravy, and the ham and cheese omelet was not impressive. Not a memorable meal and the prices were a little more than I... More

We both had the chicken fried steak breakfast which came out of the kitchen at lightening speed. I never saw the bottom of my iced tea and the food was perfect. Great gravy and moist biscuits! The ONLY downside, as I was watching my boyfriend eat, he got a distressed look on his face. The seating is old and repaired... More

We ate here after a day of fishing the Columbia river for salmon. It was recommended by our guide. The food was good, homemade and fresh, but certainly not fancy or gourmet. My dad had the prime rib which looked good and I had the New York Steak with blue cheese. It was good. Drinks were refilled rapidly, servers were... More

We stopped her because it said cabin in the name and because the sign bosted that it was a prime rib house. Its not a cabin like atmosphere other than some cute little decorations places about. My husband gets prime rib often and said this is not bad, but the very bottom of his list for places to eat it.... More

We were visiting Astoria and stopped into Stephanie's Cabin for lunch. I had the Reuben sandwich and my wife had the Halibut sandwich. We both had the clam chowder which was very good. The Reuben was excellent and her Halibut was great as well. The prices were average and the place was clean. The staff was friendly and the prices... More

I search High and low for a good breakfast spot ,to eat with my family. I saw this place on a review, after driving around town searching for something, We ended up here, which was right across from out hotel room. There was two adults and two small children in our group. We got sat down right away. I told... More

Our family dined here for breakfast yesterday. Our server was pleasant and we were seated immediately. Our daughter ordered the Belgian Waffle with bacon and a poached egg, adding as an extra blueberries and whipping cream. The waffle was a small standard size with about 1/8 of a cup of blueberry sauce and four small squirts of whipping cream. Bacon... More
