We had a Copeland's in our hometown a few years ago and hated to see it leave. We were so excited when we saw this one! It did not disappoint. Excellent New Orleans style red beans and rice. Spouse enjoyed the blackened redfish. Also took a slice of the Mardi Gras Cheese Cake with us. What a treat and not... More

I am a born and bred New Jersyite. Transplanted to the south many years ago. Married to a wonderful New Orleans born and bred Cajun love of my life , who raved about how great this restaurant is . I being the northerner I am was skeptical. Thinking of how anyone could like all things spicy and seafood. I will... More

This was my second time here, and I was not disappointed. The food was excellent and so was the service. Our server was Yaya and he was very professional and attentive. I absolutely love their bisquits, and the have great drink and food options.

I had the best red beans and rice ever. The wait time for service tended to be slow but we're from NYC and that's a common issue in Jax. Their menu had many different choices and many children friendly options.

We ate here for the first time. My husband had the salmon new orleans and he enjoyed that. The server brought him a small side of rice saying it went well with the sauce. He was right! It was delicious. I had Mahi Mahi over pasta off the lite menu and it was fantastic. Highly recommended.

A favorite and we haven't been disappointed to date. Even the new menu items are great. It is always packed with customers but is well worth the wait.

If you've never been to New Orleans or have never tried food from the area, Copelands is a must. This is moderately priced restaurant with a very comfortable atmosphere. There is a bar for those interested but the excitement for me is trying something new. Our waitress was knowledgeable but not too experienced however her recommendations were great. I had... More

My boyfriend suggested this place for my birthday as it's a little dimly lit, romantic, with separate booths and the menu is phenomenal. I was hankering for a baked potato (I know!) but their loaded crayfish potato starter was fantastic. Cocktails, entrees and service were all outstanding. The only negative was that it was really cold! But I had dressed... More

Went for Sunday brunch. Omelets are freshly made to order and delicious. The buffet is large. Mediocre food on the buffet. But you do get a lot of it. The service is extremely slow, considering they are only bringing you a drink. Took forever to get our check.
