Love the new menu!

They have an updated menu! Gourmet tacos are really good. We had the steak, the calamari (my favorite) the tuna and the shrimp. I did not care for the shrimp. They called the KaPow but honestly it had no spice and almost seemed like they used prebattered frozen shrimp. In complete contrast to the... read more

Tacos were off the chain. I can't say enough good things about the food here. The waiter recommended the tuna, ranch burger and calamari tacos and all were awesome. Easily the best seared tuna taco I've ever had (sesame crusted, but with a kick to it). First time having a fried calamari taco, but it was great (big, tender cuts... More

The chips & salsa were best I've ever had at a restuarant. The Burrito Bowl was huge, enough for two meals. Service was quick & friendly. Would definitely come back again & recommend to friends/family.

A few of my girlfriends are here last night and ordered several items from the menu to get a good taste of the place- the fried plantains, the line rice, chicken quesadilla's, & Ka-pow shrimp tacos were great. My only gripe about the chicken quesadilla is it would've been great if lettuce and tomatoes were a part of the dish-... More

I've been coming to Mossfire for a few years now and always recommend it to friends who haven't tried it. I've worked my way down the list of appetizers and the almond-crusted goat cheese is a favorite of mine. For entrees, definitely try the gorgonzola salad or burrito. For the burrito, make sure you're prepared though... this thing is massive.... More

Food is nothing special a southern grill of sorts. If the food had slightly more flavor it would be very good the smothered burrito it's probably my favorite and the plantain appetizer is great. The crab cakes are different. However the real reason we go are there margarita specials can't be beat definitely worth a trip after work for happy... More

Stopped in Mossfire Friday for lunch and picked up the famous meatloaf sandwich, with black beans and rice as a side. Man that is a hearty meal in itself. Scooter is always great to see too! I will be back!

I took a day trip to JAX and unfamiliar with the area just stopped in at Mossfire Grill for some food and it turned out to be a pleasant experience. We sat up on the roof seating which was relaxing. The server had a great personality and never missed a beat. They have vegan options on the menu. The Southwestern... More

I had driven by so many times and today stopped in. Had the gorgonzola steak salad....Very good. Recommended by the very lovely hostess. Again at the recommendation of the hostess went upstairs to the very cool bar and outdoor patio. Had great service from the staff and my salad was served on the patio. Had an Aardwolf IPA, Aardwolf is... More

Very popular spot two blocks away from the St Johns River in Downtown Jacksonville. We called for reservations, but was told they only take call ahead reservations. But since she was the owner, she still took my call ahead reservation 6 hours in advance lol. Fabulous adult beverages, good sized drinks and extremely fair prices. Ask about their daily drink...
