Truly one of a kind - decor and menu

Clark's is an iconic Jacksonville restaurant. The decor is unique, menu a southern classic, and service quite competent.

This place is worth a visit just to see it since the walls are covered with various stuffed fish, animals, etc. They even have a gator. Food is okay - a little too much fried for my taste.

My husband and I love to find place like this place. Restaurants should provide an experience not just be a place for a meal. This restaurant is unique in every way. The décor is eclectic but the primary focus is taxidermy. There are animals of every shape and size displayed in every nook and cranny of this very large establishment.... More

This is a great place to eat fresh seafood. Dine inside or outside in the fresh air over the water. Highly reccommend for family and friends

This was a really cool out of the way restaurant. It was a taxadermist's dream and PETA's nightmare. It was great for a low key business dinner for out of town visitors. The food was great. I had a seafood pasta with a wine cream sauce and it was excellent.

Can't say the food was any better than the macabre surroundings. If you enjoy looking at dusty dead stuffed critters, all kinds of them - from littlest to huge ones - this is the place to visit. Have lived in JAX for 21 years and finally took a trip to this well known restaurant. It was quite an interesting adventure.... More

Clark's is a really eclectic, interesting place to visit. It's like seeing a taxidermist on steroids and food will be served. The attractions are the gators and rooms full of stuffed animals and strange plates hanging on the walls..As far as the food goes , it's usually pretty good but it can be spotty. This last visit the food was... More

The place is great fun for families and especially out of town guests getting a possible peak at an alligator. The food and service have turned me off now after having gone there for over 25 years. I have had waiters make me carry appetizers ordered at the bar into the dining room. The fish is all frozen and deep... More

Lots of eye stimulation for both the location and the inside decor. Rustic building and tables, with both inside and outside seating on the water. Food is very good, not great. Seafood is the primary fare, and it is fresh and tasty.
